TRANSMISSION
Hydraulic torque converter with max stall torque ratio 3.28 : 1. “Powershift” transmission providing three forward and three reverse speeds, with five hydraulically controlled clutches. Pilot control gearshift located on left side of the operator. Safety lock lever preventing in “lock” position the operation of the pilot gearshift, automatically engaging the service brakes. Torque converter/transmission oil cooling by water type heat-exchanger recirculated from the engine radiator. Transmission oil filtered by two total flow filters; one metal mesh and magnetic rod on suction line, the other cartridge type with by-pass valve on delivery line.
Reduction units Central bevel gear type reduction. Reduction ratio:.........................................1 : 2.923
Double reduction final drives. Reduction ratio:........................................1 : 12.410

STEERING CLUTCHES AND BRAKES
Multi-disc, oil-bath steering clutches actuated by two indipendent control levers (in the first part of the stroke, they disengage the steering clutches, than in the final part the brakes are applied, thus controlling the steering of the machine). Hydraulic system pressurized by gear type pump. The oil is filtered by to full-flow filters: one metal mesh with magnetic rod on pump suction; the other, renewable, equipped with by-pass valve, in case of clogging, on the return line. Service brakes: oil bath, total wrap band type, working on the outer face of the steering clutch drums. Single, central pedal with hydraulic power control, to actuate the service brakes. Parking brake: automatically applied by safety lever.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Includes two welded box structure type track frames. The track frames are connected, in the front, by an oscillating cross-bar and are hinged, in the rear, on the sprocket drive shafts. Seven track rollers and two support rollers per side, permanently lubricated. Sprockets with replaceable toothed sectors. Idler wheels permanently lubricated, and hydraulic tension adjuster. Quantity of shoes per track chain:......................41 Width of standard shoes:..........................550 mm Track chains contact area: ......................32705 cm2 Width of standard shoes:..........................600 mm Shoe width: .............................................35675 cm2 Width of standard shoes: ..........................700 mm Shoe width: .............................................41620 cm2
FRAME
Load bearing with welded steel boxed structure on which the various groups are mounted. Mounted frontally on the oscillating cross-bar and to the track frames and to the transmission housing in the rear. EQUIPMENT HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Hydraulic oil reservoir, equipped with level indicators, located in the back of the machine. Gear type feeding pump. Oil filtration by means of two total-flow filters: one metal mesh on pump suction line; one replaceable, with safety by-pass valve in case of clogging, on oil return line to reservoir. Three-spool, control valve. Single lever control for the first two spools of the control valve for: • raising/lowering/float of blade; • blade tilting. Two double-acting hydraulic cylinders incorporating stroke-end and quick dropping valves in the upper sleeve, operate the blade. An optional supplementary lever is available for the third spool. A safety locking lever, retains the equipment control in neutral, to avoid accidental manoeuvres.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Voltage 24 Volt.
Alternator Alternator BOSH 28V 65A with incorporated electronic voltage regulator.
Starter motor Starter motor with automatic pinion engagement by solenoid.
Batteries Twin 12 Volt, series connected batteries.
Supplementary starting switch Switch for the starting of the engine “from the ground”, when the cab is tilted.
Emergency electrical socket Electrical socket for the starting of the engine with donkey batteries or another machine, in case of electrical emergencies.
