4.1.6 Pump piston and pump cylinder
• Remove the spring by undoing the top nut using a spanner and removing the washer. • Undo the lock washer on top of the pump cylinder. • Only trucks with electric lift: Remove the spring by removing the circlip. Use circlip pliers for the external circlip and remove washer and spring.
• Lift up the pump piston. • To remove the pump cylinder, unscrew it using a chain wrench. NOTE: When the pump cylinder is replaced, the copper washer must always be replaced. The tightening torque should be 125 Nm.
