4.2.4 Adjusting neutral mode/lift height

If lift height is not as per specification or neutral mode is not functioning satisfactorily, this can be adjusted using the neutral-mode valve (2) as follows. •Neutral mode is not functioning at all or pumping motion is very slow:

Turn the valve screw clockwise approx. ¼ turn. This means that the pumping motion must be faster in order to lift the forks. This adjustment will cause the lift height to gradually decrease the more the screw is turned to the right. •The forks do not lift regardless of the speed of the pumping motion:

Turn the valve screw anticlockwise approx. ¼ turn. This means that the pumping motion can be slower to lift the forks to maximum, while neutral mode will gradually reduce and finally cease.

NOTE:

For safety reasons and to prevent damage to the hydraulics, the screw must not be turned more than one turn anticlockwise relative to the basic setting.
