4.1.6 Pump piston and pump cylinder

•Remove the spring by undoing the top nut using a spanner and removing the washer. •Undo the lock washer on top of the pump cylinder. •Only trucks with electric lift:

Remove the spring by removing the circlip. Use circlip pliers for the external circlip and remove washer and spring.

•Lift up the pump piston. •To remove the pump cylinder, unscrew it using a chain wrench.

NOTE:

When the pump cylinder is replaced, the copper washer must always be replaced. The tightening torque should be 125 Nm.
