Sevilla brinda un inicio al Circuito de pura realeza La sexta edición del Circuito Golf Sotogrande comienza su andadura en Sevilla, uno de los campos más competitivos de todo el sur de España, con más de 120 participantes 1 Manuel Gil
El impresionante trazado del Real Club Sevilla Golf mostró la mejor versión posible para acoger la prueba inicial del VI Circuito Golf Sotogrande. Más de 120 jugadores inscritos en la prueba que desafiaron a los 18 hoyos, a un altísimo nivel preparados por el staff del campo, y disfrutaron de una redonda y completa jornada deportiva y social, gracias al desembarco del circuito sotograndino en la capital hispalense; el tercer año consecutivo que la competición tiene parada en tierras sevillanas. Con salidas consecutivas desde primera de la mañana, el más de centenar de golfistas pudieron agradecer la ‘amable’ temperatura en la capital andaluza, pese al amenazante calor que finalmente no se
produjo, y que permitió gozar de un día magnifico en el prestigioso club sevillano. Tras la prueba, momento para homenajes, felicitaciones, reconocimientos y premios. Tras las intensa, disputada, competida y reñida jornada golfística en el magnífico trazado del Real Club Sevilla Golf se llevó a cabo el tradicional cóctel, degustación de bebidas de primeras marcas y por supuesto, la entrega de premios y sorteo de regalos. Felicitar a los ganadores de esta primera cita dela temporada, por un lado, en premios especiales, a Juan Manuel García Vega (Premio Senior), Francisco Hera Jaime (Bola más cercana), Francisco Bolaños Rowe (Drive más largo caballeros) y Rocío Ruiz-Berdejo
(Drive más largo Damas). Respecto a las categorías participantes, en Damas, la triunfadora fue Rocío Ruiz-Berdejo, seguida de Paloma Muñoz y Gloria Osorio. En Primera Cat. Caballeros, el triunfo fue para Juan García, seguido de Francisco Bolaños y Javier Pino. Mientras que en Segunda Cat. Caballeros, la victoria fue para Javier Rodríguez-Tabernero, seguido de Miguel Frías y Luis Muriedas. Seville offers a truly royal start to the Circuit The sixth edition of the Sotogrande Golf Circuit got underway in Seville, at one of the most competitive courses in the south of Spain, with more than 120 participants The impressive course at Real Club Sevilla Golf offered its best possible version as it hosted the opening event of the 6th Sotogrande Golf Circuit. There were more than 120 players registered who took on the 18-holes, prepared to an extremely high-level by the course staff, and they enjoyed a well-rounded and complete social and sporting day, thanks to the arrival of the Sotogrande circuit in Seville; the third consecutive year that the competition has travelled to Seville. With consecutive outings from first thing in the morning, the more than one-hundred golfers were able to thank the “friendly” temperature in the Andalusian capital, despite the threatening heat which finally did not occur, and
which made it possible to enjoy a magnificent day at the prestigious Seville club. Following the event, it was time for tributes, congratulations, distinctions and prizes. Following the intense, competitive and closely-fought day of golf at the magnificent Real Club Sevilla Golf, the traditional cocktail party took place, with a tasting of top-range drinks and of course, the awards ceremony and prize draw. We want to congratulate the winners of the first event of the season, on one hand, in the special prizes category, Juan Manuel García Vega (Senior Prize), Francisco Hera Jaime (Closest Ball), Francisco Bolaños Rowe (Men’s Longest Drive) and Rocío Ruiz-Berdejo (Women’s Longest Drive). With
regard to the participating categories, in the Women’s category, the winner was Rocío Ruiz-Berdejo, followed by Paloma Muñoz and Gloria Osorio. In the Men´s First Category, victory went to Juan García, followed by Francisco Bolaños and Javier Pino. While in the Men´s Category, victory went to Javier Rodríguez-Tabernero, followed by Miguel Frías and Luis Muriedas.
