Lechuza Caracas festejó su victoria en Sotogrande Lechuza Caracas inscribió su nombre en la selecta lista de campeones de la Temporada de Verano de Sotogrande que organiza el Santa Maria Polo Club al adjudicarse la Copa de Plata del 39º Torneo Internacional BMW de Polo. El equipo del patrón Víctor Vargas, Juan Martín Nero, Juan Ambroggio y Chris Mackenzie confirmó el buen rendimiento que tuvo a lo largo de este trofeo con un gran desempeño en el de-
cisivo partido ante Ahmibah al cual derrotó por 11 a 9. Mucho tuvo que ver en esta consagración el buen trabajo colectivo de Lechuza. Un juego sustentado en su gran figura, Juan Martín Nero y un acertado trabajo defensivo le permitieron superar a Ahmibah, uno de los equipos mas fuertes de la temporada, que no solo venía de ganar la Copa de Bronce sino que apenas perdió un solo partido en los dos trofeos disputados.

Lechuza Caracas have etched their name on the select list of champions of the Sotogrande Summer Season organised by Santa María Polo Club by winning the Silver Cup in the 39th BMW International Polo Tournament. The team of patron Víctor Vargas, Juan Martín Nero, Juan Ambroggio and Chris Mackenzie reiterated their good perfor-
mance throughout the tournament with a great final against Ahmibah, who they defeated by 11 goals to 9. The win has to a large extent thanks to Lechuza’s good teamwork. A game based around their big star, Juan Martín Nero, and some good defensive work allowed them to overcome Ahmibah, one of the strongest teams of the season
who had not only just won the Bronze Cup but had also hardly lost a game in the two competitions. The score was 11 goals to 9 and after the bell the celebrations began at the Lechuza tethering post. In the Subsidiary Cup, Ellerston showed no mercy to Leones who they defeated by 16 goals to 9 to win the trophy.
