H AV E R I N G ESTATE REGENERATION Strategic Drivers We are aiming to: • New homes in vibrant and safe communities • Quality developments, that have been through Quality Review Panel process • High quality public spaces, and open space for play and recreation • Community facilities where people want to live and participate in local activities • Maximising affordable housing • New infrastructure

• Set benchmark standards for design that other developers will seek to follow.

• Deliver jobs for local people, including apprenticeships • Provide apprenticeships and other skills development, work experience and opportunity access programmes to leave a legacy of workforce investment Curriculum support to schools, with contractors sharing knowledge and expertise • Offer supply chain opportunities for local small businesses and social enterprises • Provide training opportunities to hard-to-reach groups

The redevelopment of the Solar Serena Sunrise site will create a vibrant, contemporary older persons village that is designed to cater for independent living for the active elderly.

•New housing for the elderly with a community spirit – creating a purpose-built environment for the over 55s whilst reaching out to connect to the wider neighbourhood and Harrow Lodge Park.

•A sense of arrival and gateway – with distinct buildings and landscape at the northern and southern approaches that signify the renewed character and enhance connections to the wider context, whilst repairing the Sunrise Avenue and Parkhill close connection as a welldefined active place (not thoroughfare).

•The layering levels of privacy – creating an internal sanctuary with private courtyards and gardens that support a healthy and active lifestyle, whilst providing visual links to the wider neighbourhood.

All hoardings are being fully cleaned as a minimum, weekly. In the instance of any graffiti on the hoardings this would be removed the same day. Hoarding currently graffiti free.
