We are delighted to provide you with this 2018/19 edition of our Approved Suppliers Directory which will enable you to quickly find and contact suppliers that have been selected to supply schools and settings with goods and services having gone through a public and/or OJEU tender process. Our main aim is to give you the peace of mind that you can use these suppliers with full confidence. The Education Brokerage Service was established in 2013 in conjunction with local schools in order to bring our collective influences to bear and aggregate buying power of schools in order to achieve the following objectives: • Cost savings resulting from economies of scale • Price stability and transparency – under the brokerage scheme, prices are fixed for three years and schools pay similar unit/contract prices for goods and services • Save time in finding vetted and approved suppliers • Compliance with local, national and EU procurement rules • Rights protected by overarching brokerage master agreement signed by all suppliers • Suppliers held to account and scrutinised extensively throughout the contract duration. As a result of the brokerage service, we have helped bring down the costs of goods and services and created an environment whereby suppliers are held to account for the quality of goods and standard of service they supply to schools. Every school subscribing to the service can be confident in knowing that approved suppliers are not to promote special deals that can potentially give a false sense of ‘value for money’ and may prove to be costly down the line. You and Me Counselling is a mental health charity that provides therapeutic services for children and young people from five-years-old and their families, to improve their mental and emotional wellbeing and to safeguard them from harm and abuse. Our team of therapists and counsellors are trained and dedicated to provide a high-quality level of therapeutic support to children, young people and their families, and work closely with school staff from beginning to end, to ensure the goal and needs of the school, the children and their families are met. Each session is tailored towards the specific needs of the client, to provide a safe and welcoming environment where they feel able to express themselves and their feelings. You and Me Counselling have a wonderful record of providing counselling in Havering schools since 2011, this says a lot about our provisions. We do not have any restriction concerning how many children and young people you can refer to You and Me Counselling at any time. We are flexible to the school’s requirements, and can meet young people at their school, their home or at our Hornchurch counselling rooms, which have disabled access.
