An entire day during which people stop daily activities to take time in their hands and to make it theirs, a day that gives people the opportunity to come out of daily routine and to see life from another point of view.
Shomrim*ot think that in the selfish and competitive society of nowadays it is fundamental to celebrate the Shabbat. As Heschel did, Shomrim*ot think that taking time to look at what they have done and think of what they want is the only way for to actually create something in the world.
