WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Dear HIM Family,
We are in a season of reformation and revival. As I shared at the beginning of the year, the globe is poised for seismic shifts in 2024, due to elections taking place on an unparalleled scale. While Taiwan’s newly elected President Lai keeps Communist China at arm’s length, Russia’s Putin is pulling the strings for his reelection in March. Meanwhile, our Korean brothers and sisters are covering their important April congressional race in prayer, and Stateside, we continue to intercede for the crucial U.S. primary and general elections taking place this year.
With so much at stake in 2024, it is
imperative that we hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Church.
I believe the year 2024 promises to be a year of double “open doors” and a greater outpouring of God’s glory. Psalm 24 resonates with the repeated declarations of verses 7 and 9: “Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in!”
On April 14, 2022, God spoke to me that we were entering into an “epic season of transformation.” Over the past two years, many di erent signs of reformation and revival have confirmed this word. Here are a few signs I want to highlight.
1 Roe v. Wade was overturned on June 24, 2022 — a monumental shift in U.S. legislation after 49 years of fervent prayer.
2 America Upheld’s FEC license was granted on August 22, 2022 (8.22.22). I personally believe this PAC is a game-changer with its specific focus to support conservative believers with a biblical worldview.
3 The Asbury Revival ignited on February 8, 2023, drawing over 50,000 people to the small town of Wilmore, Kentucky, and spreading the flames of revival to 260 schools.
4 Global Summit 2023 was marked by watershed moments on April 14, 2023, including the fulfillment of Dutch Sheet’s vision from 2001 and the birthing of an “Esther and Mordecai movement” with Jenny Donnelly and Lou Engle.
5 Mike Johnson became the U.S. Speaker of the House on October 25, 2023. I believe this was a miracle, for a born-again congressman to be raised up for this position out of relative obscurity, and a sign that we are moving towards reformation in America.
6 Two Open Doors of Divine Appointments: At the National Gathering of Prayer and Repentance on January 31, 2024, I met Speaker Mike Johnson, who participated in the event alongside many pastors and political leaders in Washington, D.C. One week later, I had the honor of meeting President Trump at an impromptu gathering of intercessors at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
7 The Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl win on February 11, 2024: To me, the Chiefs’ third Lombardi Trophy since 2020 really emphasized the fulfillment of Bob Jones’ prophetic words from 1983, as James Goll shared during last year’s Global Summit.
8 You have a part to play! Why were you born during this time of global shaking? I believe the answer is Esther 4:14. You are part of an Esther generation—born for “such a time as this” to save your nation.
That is why I believe our upcoming Global Summit (April 3-6) is at the junction of a kairos moment. This year’s gathering will be historic with keynote speakers Bill Johnson, Cindy Jacobs, and Lance Wallnau, joined by others including Lou Engle, Jenny Donnelly, plus new speakers John Bevere and Chris Reed, who is going to share a significant prophetic word for Pasadena.
