A MILLION WOMEN: AN ESTHER CALL TO THE MALL
Dear HIM Family,
Can you feel the rumbling in 2024?
Both in the spirit and in the natural, seismic activity is taking place on a global scale. We are witnessing the prophecy of Haggai 2:7 continuing to play out as God is shaking the globe with the goal of seeing a greater outpouring of His glory. To be sure, the shaking is not decreasing but, in many cases, only increasing.
Recently, I was talking with my spiritual sons in Taiwan who told me that in late April their island nation experienced over 100 measurable earthquakes in a 24-hour period. They were literally shaken awake in bed by the intensity of the earthquakes, many of which measured 5.3 to 6.0 and above on the Richter Scale.
This small example is a picture of what is happening globally. The nations have been spiritually asleep, but God is bringing an awakening that cannot be ignored. We cannot turn a blind eye to the mounting tensions in the Middle East
surrounding the war between Israel and Hamas. So much is at stake in 2024. Add to this equation the political volatility of an election year in over 64 countries, scandals and controversies in the church, and woke ideologies threatening our education system. Reflecting on all of this, you will likely come to the same conclusion that I have:
We must take prayer to another level in 2024.
Now more than ever—in light of the global shaking but also in view of how God is moving in this season—we must commit ourselves to intercession for our nations. We need to mobilize our leaders and our churches to be proactive in prayer. Our level of faith has to rise, not just to shield ourselves from challenging times but to actually take territory for the Kingdom.
“...for My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
Isaiah 56:7
Another verse that God has been highlighting to me is Hebrews 1:9: “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of joy above Your companions.” In times of testing and mounting pressure, I believe it will be revealed whether we are truly aligned with Christ’s character and integrity. We must love righteousness and fight for truth with everything in us.
All of this is not just for our own sake—it is for our children, our families, and our spiritual sons and daughters. God thinks generationally, and His plans for our lives and ministries extend far beyond our individual spheres. Our prayers and actions must be invested into the transformation of society, which will ultimately yield a cross-generational ROI.
How can we take strategic action in 2024?
1. Pray for the nations with a renewed fervency. Intercede especially for the elections, for Israel and the Middle East, and for revival in your nation.
2. Be a voice for righteousness and truth in your sphere of influence. Be bold as you “speak
the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15).
3. Get out and vote during the 2024 elections. Do your research, support godly candidates, and show up on election day.
4. Join us at “A Million Women: An Esther Call to the Mall” in Washington, D.C. on October 12, 2024 (the Day of Atonement). This movement, pioneered by HIM Apostle Jenny Donnelly and HIM Prophet Lou Engle, is rallying the mothers and fathers of America to take a stand for the future of our children, as modern-day Esthers and Mordecais rise up to fast and pray.
We believe a nation can be saved in a day (Isaiah 66:8). We also believe our nations can be reformed in our lifetime. Let’s press onward—as a global family—for the sake of the following generations.
