A YEAR OF IMPACT Dear HIM Family,
Thank you for partnering with us in 2023! As each year goes by, Sue and I take time to reflect on God’s enormous blessings, not only in our nuclear family but in our global family of spiritual sons and daughters. We pinch ourselves just realizing how God has blessed Harvest International Ministry in such extraordinary ways. And by His grace, 2023 was an exceptional year of impact. The year 2023, much like the previous three years, saw a clash between increasing darkness and light. Amidst the global shaking—with 40-year-high inflation, the second year of the Russia-Ukraine war, and the shocking Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 (Israel’s 9/11)—God is mobilizing His Church to arise and shine His glory among the nations. “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” – Isaiah 60:1-3 During this “epic season of transformation,” HIM has been in a season of fresh vision and building toward the future as our network expands beyond 70 nations. It is harvest time, and we are in the beginning stages of a historic move of the Spirit. On a national level, I believe we need to thank G od for a godl y evangelical leader, M ike Johnson, being elected as the Speaker of the House, which is a miracle and a sign that we are moving towards reformation in America. On a global level, we must realize that in 1948 when five Arab nations attacked Israel and in 1967 during the Six-Day War, God gave Israel a miraculous victory, and simultaneously revival broke out around the world. The year 1948 saw the Latter Rain outpouring, Billy Graham’s rise to prominence, the Voice of Healing revival, and the start of the Hebrides Revival. In 1967, we saw the outbreaking of the Jesus People movement. So, too, following the heinous October 7 attack on Israeli civilians, I believe we
are witnessing another emerging sign that a great global revival is upon us.
New Members, New Movements In 2023, we welcomed over 74 new members into our global HIM family. These leaders represent a diverse array of fivefold ministries as well as organizat ions s t rategicall y placed among t he seven mountains of culture.
At our annual Global Summit (April 12-15, 2023), we were honored to commission 28 HIM apostles, prophets, and marketplace apostles, and my spiritual son Tony Kim was commissioned as HIM’s new Vice President. A new movement was also launched on 4/14 when Lou Engle and Jenny Donnelly shared the vision for an Esther and Mordecai call that will gather 1 million women at the Washington, D.C. Mall in 2024 to fight for the next generation.
Global-Reaching Impact Thanks to your membership and invaluable contribution to the work of God, HIM has brought about profound transformation in regions across the globe in 2023. Here is a sample of highlights from different nations: Guatemala: On March 8-11, I traveled to Guatemala for a “Kingdom Government Consultation” event where I had the honor of meeting with President Alejandro Giammattei and speaking before Congress. We also met with seven upcoming presidential candidates to encourage them to take a stand for biblical values. Peru: My next trip to Latin America was from April 24-28 in Lima, Peru. We had incredible favor to meet President Dina Boluarte, the Head of Congress, and other government leaders to strategically advance God's Kingdom in that nation. Cuba: On May 17-24, I accompanied Leanne Goff, an HIM marketplace apostle, and Josué Santiago to hold leadership events in the cultural hubs of Havana and Matanzas. Even in a country that has been ravaged by decades of communism, the spiritual hunger level is through the roof!

USA: On September 16, Revive California hosted a Leadership Summit & Gala to galvanize support for biblical candidates running for office in California. In the evening, Arizona political frontrunner Kari Lake gave the keynote address. During the day, I was joined by Bill Johnson, Rob McCoy, Jenny Donnelly, Phil Hotsenpiller, Dran Reese, and several candidates activating believers to reform the government mountain. Bulgaria: On September 21-23, we hosted an HIM conference in Sofia, Bulgaria, with HIM apostles Arman and Petya Lalane, fanning the embers of revival in Eastern Europe.
On February 2-3, we held our first open-invitation School of Apostles (SOA) in Cooper City, Florida, where over 100 attendees came to be equipped at both the SOA and a Wagner University Intensive that same weekend. Later in the year, on September 7-9, we had a powerful time at our annual SOA in Pasadena, CA, with another 100+ participants. This year was unique because before the SOA began, we held our first inaugural “Generation NEXT” Roundtable with a group of 50 Millennials and Gen Z leaders (all under 40). Meanwhile, Ché Ahn Ministries (CAM) has been in a season of capturing new content to release and equip the next generation of leaders. Over the course of 2023, I had the pleasure of filming Season 3 of my TV show Equipping the Saints with Ché Ahn. In more than 20 episodes, I shared Kingdom-hearted conversations with stellar HIM leaders and close friends who are actively pursuing God’s purposes in the earth today. As we look back on the year 2023, we want to express our hear t felt gratitude to all our HIM members and partners who have stood by us during this remarkable season. Let us eagerly embrace 2024 with anticipation for even greater things that God has in store. Together we are going “from glory to glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18) and “from strength to strength” (Psalm 84:7)! In His Love,
Israel & Egypt: From September 26 to October 7, I was joined by a group of 30 HIM leaders as we made history with HIM’s first tour and mission trip to both Israel and Egypt. (By the grace of God, we left Israel several days before the intense warfare broke out.) Middle East: In response to the militant invasion of Israel on October 7, we have supported Arise For Israel through my friend Calev Myers in the efforts to put international pressure on getting all 200+ hostages released from Hamas. Earlier in 2023, we provided on-the-ground relief support to Turkey and Syria af ter the 7.8 ear thquake that occurred in February, partnering with HIM apostle Yvette Isaac and her ministry, Roads of Success.
