Atalanta FC is a very successful all-girls football club, located in South Hampshire. The club was formed at the start of the 2021-22.
We currently have around 150 members.
The Club has grown rapidly over the last two seasons and we now currently run teams at the U6 to U16 age groups who compete in a variety of competitions, including the JPL Warriors, Hampshire Girls Youth Football League and the Testway Youth Football League, a mixed competition.
Since the club was formed in the 21-22 Season we have taken part in 7 County Cup Finals, winning 4 and achieving runners up in 3, across a variety of age groups. A huge achievement for a club that has only been in existence for 4 seasons.
As a Club we pride ourselves on the amount of opportunities we offer. Players can access regular Futsal opportunities, Gym Training, Strength and Conditioning Sessions, GK Coaching and Mental Skills
Workshops as a member of the Club.
We are a Club with a huge ambition for the future, as we look to continue to improve our offering to allow all our players to grow and develop on and off the pitch.
The Club is holding JPL Warriors and Open Trials for girls in the current U6-U17 age groups for the 2025-26 Season in June and are keen to hear from any girls keen to progress in their football journey.

We are delighted to have made the Hampshire FA County Cup U12 Girls Final for the third time in four seasons
We are very excited about the game ahead and all our attention and energies will be on that today. We hope to, not only end the season on a high, but to also regain the cup we won in the 21-22 Season. We have enjoyed a very competitive season in the top JPL Warriors U12 Division playing against some of the best teams in the Country including Crystal Palace, West Ham United and Millwall Girls Academy, it has been a tough but enjoyable season and one the girls have learnt a lot from. This will certainly stand them in good stead as they continue their JPL Warriors journey next season.
R
We really hope the coaches, committee, parents and spectators enjoy the game today but most importantly we hope the players do. It is so important in football to enjoy the wonderful moments when they come. And this is another one for these players.
We are very proud of this group of players They are an extremely talented group who continue to work hard and show an enormous amount of dedication to their football. We are delighted that they will get to experience another County Cup Final occasion. We go into today’s game knowing we are in for a tough game, however, I am sure the girls will give it their all and I am confident that they will do themselves and the Club proud.
Finally, we would like to wish our opposition all the best for the game which I am sure will be very entertaining.

Denmead Football Club was founded as a Men’s team before WW II. So far the earliest date we have established is in the 1930’s.
The earliest photo uncovered so far is of a double winning side in the 1953/54 season.
The Junior sides started in the 1960s and were then named Denmead Boys F.C. The Club then dropped the ‘Boys’ part of the name in 1999 and became Denmead Youth F.C. as it is known today.
The Club is based in Denmead at the KGV Playing Fields in Denmead. It mainly trains on a Saturday and plays matches on a Sunday in the South Hants Glass Portsmouth Youth League and Meon Valley men’s league.
In 1998/99 the Club had approximately 100 players registered playing for five eleven-a-side teams In the same year the Junior section was set up in response to the F.A. Mini Soccer Initiative
In 2000/01 a Girls section was set up. Over a 5-year period the Girls section grew to 8-teams and became so big that it was agreed for them to separate from the Boys for ease of management (unfortunately the Girls section, known as Denmead Belles, is now no longer running).
Between 2001/02 to the present day, the Boys section has grown significantly to become one of the largest in the Portsmouth area with 240+ players.

Brookes has had a great season this season.
Scoring a lot of goals and registering a lot of assists. A wand of a left foot and very tidy on the ball Great ball control and loves a trick or two

Hallie H Team Captain
We are beyond thrilled to be in the cup final after weeks of intense training, teamwork and dedication we’ve made it to this incredible moment.
Each player has given their all on and off the pitch supporting each other and pushing through challenges to get to this stage We are proud of how far we have come and no matter the outcome we are grateful we had the chance to show our talent, thank you to the coaches and parents for always supporting us at the games, and a special thanks to Hugh for always believing and helping us to thrive - we wouldn’t be in this final without him We can’t wait for the final!
Go Denmead!
Formed in 2020 the club initially started with 2 teams but quickly found that with the growth of girls football there was lot of demand from girls wanting to play football.
The club has expanded rapidly to where it currently stands today with 10 youth teams and 3 senior teams and some of the best facilities in the area.
R
Future England number 1! Made some top saves this year and her distribution is unreal
Been such a quality addition to the team since joining on the eve of the season and was worth all the hard work.
R
The first of our U12s Pacy and athletic Marina will rarely loses a foot race, she has been with us since U9 and gone from strength to strength. She will be representing England prep schools at the Gothia cup this summer
Lilly began training with us at U10 but joined at U11. A real gem of a player, right footed but plays on the left.
Fierce in a tackle and I think she’d stick her head on an asteroid.
R
Started off as a goal poacher in her 1st season, slowly moved back over recent seasons and looks comfortable at the back
Uses good footwork to get out of trouble and can pick a pass to get us on the front foot R
R
Been a revelation this season after converting from winger to full back despite some initial resistance A clever player with brilliant feet to get us out of tight spaces, determined in the challenge and beaten players twice her size in the air.
One of our captains. Showed real leadership qualities this season and has been an absolute rock, always gives 110% for the team, has probably played every position for us faultlessly and is a big goal threat higher up the pitch
R
Over 50 goals in her first season at U9 but now our rock at the back. Not much gets past Millie's nononsense tackling, she takes no prisoners
Still so much to her games and able to give us some drive higher up the pitch if needed R
R
The most selfless player on the team Marley breaks up everything the opposition throws at her and is always positive when in possession Never wants to shoot, but I think she’s got a goal in her today if she gets some encouragement from the crowd
Evie’s got the key to unlock most defences.
Works hard and has a real eye for a pass, once she’s got the ball at her feet, you can see our forwards' eyes light up as they know she will find them
Another U12 and a feisty one at that. Always wears her heart on her sleeve and always leaves everything on the pitch
A real joy to have in the team and made the step up in ages this season flawlessly
The last of our U12S, and surprisingly started as our GK This girl is fast, and when she’s playing with confidence, she's a match for anyone. She prefers playing wing back, but having seen her finishing at own age we know she can be a matchwinner.
R
Joined us in the summer from the JPL after really impressing in training Technically, Layla is a brilliant player always looking to bring other players into attacks with clever link-up play Always has a big smile on her face and is the first to say thanks after training every week.
R
Our midfield maestro. As the saying goes, good things come in small packages and that’s certainly the case with Macie-Bella Even though she’s U12, she runs the middle of the pitch when on there and makes everything look so natural
R
Always tenacious out of possession but a joy to watch with a ball at her feet. To watch her confidence grow as a player and person since the shy 8-year-old that first turned up has been amazing to see Always capable of producing some magic
R
A real talent and genuinely strikes a football better than most adults Been with us for 3 seasons and gets better every year, you can tell Rebecca must have a football at her feet 24 hours a day
She makes Messi look average!
R
Vary rare to see an out-and-out striker as good as Molly Pacey, strong and all the time she’s on the pitch, you have a chance of scoring. Unplayable at times and no surprise she’s also signed by Southampton Academy
R
R Ant White Team Manager
Sam White Team Manager
We’ve had a lot of these girls since U9 and every year they have continued to surprise us.
We started off in the lowest league and lost our very first cup game by double figures but have set a target each year to improve and each year they have achieved beyond what we have asked of them. The team have climbed the leagues and have become Division 1 champions.
R
Last season as a team we reached the Semifinal of this competition, so this year's aim was to go one better and reach the final, which again they have achieved, defeating 2 JPL teams on the way.
No matter what the score in the final, the girls have done us proud as always and we look forward to setting them next year’s targets.
This season, us girls have all worked incredibly hard and are now on for the treble. I believe if everyone turns up on the day we can win anything & everything.
R
We are all hardworking, determined girls who bounce back from any losses even stronger than before.
We also wouldn’t be where we are right now without our amazing coaches Ant & Sam. Hopefully this year will be our year!
Rosie F Team Captain
R
We have done so well to get this far, but we hope we can go one step further and become Hampshire cup winners.
R
We have worked so hard to get to where we are now, and I really hope we can win the treble.
