On behalf of the Directors of Hampshire FA, I am delighted to welcome you all to Winklebury Football Complex for the finals of three of our youth cup competitions: the Savvy Accountancy Solutions U15, U16 and U18 Girls Cups.

Reaching the County Cup Final is a remarkable achievement, and we offer our congratulations to both teams. At the same time, it's important to acknowledge the immense effort put in by everyone behind the scenes – from coaches and managers to first aiders, committee members, and of course, the unwavering support of parents and families. Organising these Cup Finals is no small feat, and we owe a

Goalkeeper
R
Agata is always on hand with birthday gifts for the girls She has also made some crucial saves this year in big moments for the team, a staple of any good GK!
Defender
R
Kate is a great person to have around the group as she is a very calming influence with her kind nature. That composure is evident on the pitch too as she loves progressing the ball properly!
R
Emily is a very hard working player who consistently leaves everything on the pitch. This year her understanding of the tactical side of the game has come on massively!
Midfielder
R
Lola is a huge personality in this team and holds people to standards consistently. Scoring a worldy on her birthday is I’m sure a personal highlight!
R
Brooke is the social butterfly of the group, always on hand to pick up people when they are down. Brooke’s deliveries are always on point and have caused lots of problems for teams this year.
R
Lola is an absolute winner, whether it’s training or games, she is all in This is always evident on pitch with the state of her knees after lots of last ditch challenges!
R
Viva suffered early in the year with an injury, but has worked hard to get back to full fitness and we are happy that she’s back! During her injury, she was ALWAYS at games which is a credit to her character!
R
Brogan is the warrior of the group, always willing to throw her body in the way of anything and everything. Her ability to play passes is massively under appreciated!
Midfielder
R
Sadly Issy has spent most of this year out with a serious injury, a testament to her is that whenever we see her, she is always smiling. In the moments we saw her, she excited everyone with her speed!
Midfielder
R
Jade is one of the most fun loving players at Pompey, she wants a ball at her feet and a smile on her face She does things that no 14 year old has the right to do with a football!
Midfielder
R
Poppy is the second boss of the group. She has worked incredibly hard to be fitter this year than last which is testament to her effort in the off season and is an absolute powerhouse in the midfield.
Striker
R
Riley works incredibly hard as a player on and off the ball. She sets the tempo in games by chasing down defenders and lifts the whole teams energy!
Midfielder
R
Gaby is the professional of the group, a stickler for the rules and always wants the best for her team! She is also one of the first to volunteer to play anywhere the team is needed.
Midfielder
R
Lex is undoubtedly one of the bosses of the group – what she says goes. She always demands high standards of herself and is a force in the middle of the park!
Midfielder
R
Summer is a player who is consistently at everything which is a great trait to have! She has adapted well to a new role within the team and is working well to understand how to make that change!
Striker
R
Lily is again another player that is always at training and games. She always reacts well to moving around to help the team where needed and has a real eye for goal!

RThis team have done exceptionally well this year to achieve 2 finals and now they are fully focused towards them and attempting to win their league. They are really excited to have the opportunity to play Hartlands after defeat earlier in the year against them. The girls have set their own identity this year of being a hard working, fair goof footballing side, which I think they are showcasing all of the time!
This season’s Hampshire Cup has been an brilliant adventure with unforgettable moments. The cup run has made us super close; we've shared laughs, dealt with challenges, and grown together It’s not just football; our friendships go beyond the field, friendships that will last forever. As the competition went on, we faced tough teams and had to deal with setbacks like injuries and doubts But these challenges only made us more determined to do well this season. Jack and PITC encourage us to express ourselves, which gives us great confidence and my team is excited to show their skills and prove themselves today. Play up Pompey!

It’s a real privilege to lead this outstanding group of players into another Hampshire FA Cup Final for the club. Reaching this stage again reflects the team’s consistency, character, and the standards they set for themselves week in, week out.
The journey to the final has challenged us in different ways, and the players have responded with maturity, commitment, and real quality. What’s impressed me most is their willingness to learn, adapt, and support each other on and off the pitch.
As a group, we talk a lot about accountability, professionalism, and playing with purpose. These girls have embodied that throughout the season and fully deserve the opportunity to represent the club in a game of this magnitude.
R
Credit to Phil and Rodrigo for their tireless work behind the scenes, and to the parents for the consistent support they provide. It’s very much a collective effort, and I’m proud of the environment we’ve built together

This final will be a valuable learning experience for the group of players. It’s an opportunity for them to compete in a meaningful fixture and test themselves in a competitive environment.
More than just the result, it’s a chance to showcase everything they’ve learned this year. Win or lose, the most important thing is how they represent the club and continue to grow, both as players and as people.
AFC Bournemouth Women have seen rapid growth over recent seasons and have recently secured promotion to Tier 3 of the Women’s pyramid for the first time. We hope everyone involved enjoys todays showcase for the U16 County Cup Looking back over the Season, the players have made good progress on the field; competing well on all fronts and leaving some lasting memories for the players! More so, however is the progress that the players have made individually, as they strive to develop through our Clubs pathway. We would like to thank all of the players parents/guardians/spectators for their unwavering support! In such an exciting year for Women and Girls football at the Club, we are proud of how the Under 16 age group have collectively represented us both on and off the pitch. The future certainly looks bright for AFC Bournemouth!
Becoming a good team requires sacrifice; hours of training and thousands of miles driven! I want to start by thanking our coaches and parents for their sacrifices, giving up their time to give us the opportunity and for believing in us Success requires sacrifice from your team mates, to run that extra yard, to give up personal glory for team success, to give everything and put your body on the line for them, knowing they will do the same for you! Success can be measured by wins, goals scored and clean sheets; by that measure we have been successful this Season. I prefer however, to measure success by the lasting friendships made and the support we give each other and in that too we are successful! It has been an honour and privilege to play and Captain AFC Bournemouth Above all to be your team mate! Win or lose, we are a team, lets enjoy the day and finish in style!

RReaching the final for the second consecutive season is nothing short of historic for this team. It’s a massive achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and spirit these girls show every single week I couldn't be prouder of what they’ve accomplished not just in reaching another final, but in the way they’ve done it
They turn up week in, week out, ready to give everything for each other, and it shows We’ve built a team that plays confident, attacking football with real identity. The progress they’ve made as individuals and as a team has been incredible to watch Whether it's defending with grit, playing out from the back, or creating beautiful moments going forward, they’ve taken everything on board and made it their own
To see them grow in confidence, take responsibility on the pitch, and work for one another has been inspiring We’re not just reaching finals we’re doing it the right way, with style, passion, and unity.
One more step to go, and I’m sure this team will make history by winning the cup for the second consecutive season an achievement never done before!

We’ve worked so hard to get to this point, and to be in the final for the second year in a row is something really special.
The togetherness, the fight, and the belief we have in each other is what makes this team so strong. We’ve faced tough games, injuries, setbacks but we’ve always stuck together, supported one another, and come out stronger. The way we play now confident, attacking football is something we’ve all worked on, and it’s been amazing to see how far we’ve come.
I honestly can’t wait to lead the girls out in the final. It’s such a proud moment for me, and I know we’ll give everything to bring that trophy home. Win or lose, I’ll be proud of every single one of them.

Aldershot FC folded in March 1992, becoming the first Football League club to do so during the season since 1962. Aldershot Town was formed shortly after on April 22, 1992, managed by ex-player Steve Wignall. The new club started in the Isthmian League Division 3, and by the end of their first season, they had won the title with an 18-point lead. Key players Mark Butler and Steve Stairs scored 62 goals between them. In the following years, Aldershot Town secured further promotions and success, winning the Isthmian League Division 1 title and both the Hampshire Senior Cup and Isthmian League Cup in 1999. Under manager George Borg, the club rose to the Football Conference, and by 2002, Terry Brown guided them to promotion to the Conference Premier.
The club’s crowning achievement came in 2007-08, when Aldershot Town won the Conference Premier title under Gary Waddock, earning promotion to the Football League. They finished their first League 2 season in 13th place. However, in 2013, the club faced financial troubles, went into administration, and was relegated from League 2. After restructuring, Aldershot Town regained stability and began to rebuild. The 2014-15 season brought a memorable FA Cup win over Portsmouth, but the club still struggled in the Conference Premier. Under Waddock’s return in 2016, Aldershot had a solid season, finishing 5th in the National League and reaching the play-offs, though they fell short in the semi-finals. The club continues to aim for promotion to the Football League.

Firstly, I would like to say a big thank you to all here today for support shown for both teams. Our first season in under 18s football has both seen its challenges whilst also being rewarding, leading us to the cup final.
I am thrilled for the girls’ achievements. The hard work, dedication, fighting spirit, and commitment they have shown week in and week out has been outstanding and ask for this to be continued into today’s fixture against strong opposition.
Being the first team of our Girls Academy to reach this stage of a cup competition provides an indication of the bright future our Girls teams have as we continue to grow bigger and bigger.
We know the strengths and threats that Andover New Street pose having played them throughout the course of the season, but I know that we have a strong, positive group of girls that will cause problems for Andover.
Good luck to both teams. Hope you all enjoy the game!
I am incredibly proud to be leading this amazing group of girls into today’s final. It’s been a tough season at times, with injuries and challenges along the way, while our league form hasn’t always reflected the effort we’ve put in, this cup run has shown exactly what we’re capable of – hard work, dedication, and real team spirit.
Reaching the final is a huge achievement and something we’ve worked towards all season. It’s a testament to everything we’ve done – the effort in training, the support we show each other through highs and lows, and the determination to keep pushing forward no matter what.
RThis team is so special because of how much we care –about each other, about improving, and working together as a team. Every single one of the girls has given everything to get us here, and now we have the chance to finish this cup run on a high.
A massive thank you to our coaches, families and everyone who’s been behind us all season. Your support is much appreciated! It’s time to enjoy the moment, focus and give everything we’ve got, and hopefully come away with the result we’ve worked so hard for.
