Founded in 1966, the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce has served the Central Hillsborough County area for 58 years, working together with local businesses to drive economic development and community involvement for a vibrant and prosperous future. In 2024, in an effort to better reflect the members of the Chamber and the area it serves, the Chamber changed its name to the Central Hillsborough County Chamber of Commerce.

These networking groups are open to entire membership and are for members only. Visitors may attend twice at no charge. You may attend one or all at any time.

Want to learn more about the Chamber? Join us for Member360, an informative in-person session where all benefits of Chamber membership are discussed and your questions answered! Check our calendar for the next meeting date!

For those in their first year of membership, we invite you to attend the Year One Club! In this smaller group setting, you will forge new connections, learn new business development skills from featured speakers, practice networking skills, and have fun! The Year One Club meets monthly at the Chamber office.

Not only are Ribbon Cuttings a fun celebration of a significant event or milestone, they also create GREAT networking and advertising opportunities.

Monthly Membership Luncheon typically occurring on the 4th Tuesday of each month.

Networking and food service from 11:15/11:30 AM until noon. Meeting officially begins at noon. Seating is limited, therefore registration with payment is required in advance to guarantee seating.

The mission of the Nonprofit Coalition is to foster collaboration, innovation, and impact among a diverse network of nonprofit organizations. It will strive to create a dynamic platform for resource sharing, knowledge exchange, and collective action.

LEAD is designed to help individuals improve their leadership skills, build their network, and advance their careers/businesses. This group is open to CHCC business owners and professionals at all levels from all industries who are passionate about developing their leadership potential.

Committees and Councils Committees and Councils

Ambassadors are highly visible, prestigious volunteers who serve as the Chamber's primary liaison to Chamber members. Considered the goodwill arm of the Chamber, the Ambassador Team plays an essential role in member recruitment, communication, and retention.

The CHCC Committee is tasked with developing and implementing effective communication strategies to facilitate internal and external communication processes.

The CHCC Economic Development Council is a specialized group established with the primary goal of fostering economic growth, prosperity, and sustainability.

The CHCC Education Council focuses on addressing educational needs, promoting workforce development, and supporting educational initiatives within the local community.

The CHCC Events Committee is a dedicated group responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events and activities to promote business networking, community engagement, and economic development within the Chamber.

The CHCC Government Affairs Council is focused on engaging with government entities to shape public policy and advocate for the Chamber and its members' interests.

The CHCC of Commerce Membership Committee will oversee membership recruitment, retention, engagement, and satisfaction. The committee plays a crucial role in attracting new members, retaining existing members, and enhancing the overall membership experience.

The CHCC Military Affairs Council is dedicated to serving as a bridge between the business community and the military sector, promoting collaboration, economic growth, and mutual support.

Being a member of the Chamber does not mean you have to attend every event. You have avenues to be involved without being presentadvertising, press releases, placing events on the community calendar, using the Hot Deals platform, receipt of Chamber updates weekly and newsletter monthly, listing in our Business Directory, free use of CHCC conference room during business hours, notary service, all available to members!

Log into your Member Portal

Completely fill out your company information. This information is what will be seen by consumers searching our Business Directory, so don’t forget your business hours, directions, and full contact information.

If you are an Enhanced or higher Investor, be sure to take advantage of uploading photos! This is YOUR admake the most of it!

Include your staff in the membership - add them as reps. The Chamber offers a variety of opportunities that will benefit employees throughout your organization.

Attend the next Member360 Meeting

Get an in depth look at all of the opportunities available to you as a Chamber Member.

Make Connections

Consider joining a committee, volunteer, and attend networking meetings, luncheons, and Ribbon Cuttings to become more plugged in.

Use the Chamber’s Marketing Tools

Display your business cards in our Chamber display case at the CHCC office. Be sure to keep this supplied so that your cards can be shared with the many visitors at the Chamber office.
