Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower and foster a vibrant and thriving business community by having a commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, excellence, and advocacy for all businesses.

Supporting Our Community
Think back…who was your favorite teacher? Mine was Ms. Roach; I had her for both first and third grade. I still have the Dick and Jane Primer she used to perfect my reading ability. I even have the green card with the multiplication tables 0-12 that made it extremely convenient for Daddy to nightly call out equations testing my memorization. Amazing how one teacher can leave such a lasting impact on your young life coupled with necessary life skills all at the same time.
Ms. Roach was one of the teachers who inspired me to become an educator. Her methods and mannerisms helped to shape and mold who I am today. I never imagined the sacrifice teachers endure to provide a safe and secure classroom environment while teaching curriculum to varying learning styles. I also promptly learned of the personal expense each individual teacher incurs! Notebook and copy paper, pens, pencils, highlighters, note cards, post-its are not provided by the district.
Stay informed of the latest Chamber news and happenings

Classroom enhancements such as posters, supplemental reading books, treasure box surprises (yes, even high school students like prizes!), supplemental snacks and sometimes even breakfast and lunch foods for the disadvantaged are purchased without reimbursement. I know, they get summer off!!! Did you know it is without pay unless they adjust their payroll to withhold funds each regular pay period to then receive a reimbursement pay throughout summer. And, did you know, most are required to take continuing ed classes throughout the summer to renew their state license which they also have to pay to keep!
Teaching is a work of heart which without you would not be where you are todaynot one of us! So, here is my challenge to you who are not and probably would not want to be a teacher - how can you say THANK YOU to a community of individuals who do what they do for all of us? Donate something - anything to Business and Education. This event is held each year for new teachers in our community to help them get a jump start on their school year! If you don't have time to shop, no worries, you can contribute on the website and we will purchase cases of paper for you! Even $5 can make a difference. Are you up for the challenge?

ECHO (Emergency Care Help Organization)
The Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO), founded in Brandon in 1987 and now also operating in Riverview, is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit dedicated to bridging the gap between crisis and stability for families across eastern Hillsborough County.

Through its Riverview Resource Center at 10509 Riverview Drive, ECHO offers emergency food, clothing, life stabilizing programs, job coaching, GED help, financial‑literacy workshops, and advocacy support. In emergencies such as job loss, eviction, or family crises neighbors from Riverview to Sun City Center receive nutritious groceries and clothing, including five outfits and a new pair of shoes per visit, and children get new socks, underwear, or diapers. ECHO’s Back‑to‑Work program pairs participants with job coaches for resume help, mock interviews, in house training, and workshops on budgeting, couponing, and starting a business.

To sustain its impact, ECHO runs thrift stores (Brandon and Bloomingdale) where proceeds fund emergency services and empowerment programs; every $10 spent feeds a family of five, and all donated goods go back into the local community ECHO is making a real difference: its expanded Riverview center served over 24,000 “neighbors” in the last year up almost 50% and regularly partners with other nonprofits to offer satellite services in its 8,000sqft space to meet growing demand. By donating, volunteering, or shopping, your support helps families move from crisis to stability. ECHO’s commitment ensures that no one in eastern Hillsborough faces hardship alone.

When It’s More Than a Roof: How We Help Tampa Bay Families Feel Safe Again
When It’s More Than a Roof: How We Help Tampa Bay Families Feel Safe Again

Most people don’t think about their roof until it’s too late. A ceiling stain. A leak during a storm. A feeling in your gut that something’s not right. And suddenly, you're forced to make one of the biggest home decisions of your life—fast.
That’s where we come in.
At American Roof Pros, we understand roofing isn’t just about shingles and nails. It’s about trust. It’s about protecting your home, your business, your family—when things feel uncertain. Whether it’s hurricane damage, an insurance claim nightmare, or just the wear and tear of Florida weather, we show up when it matters most. Not with pushy sales tactics, but with straight answers, honest work, and a plan that actually makes sense. We know what it feels like to get burned by bad contractors. We’ve seen homeowners left hanging—ghosted after a deposit, confused by fine print, or pressured into repairs they didn’t need. That’s not us. Ever.

Here’s what we believe: you deserve to feel confident in the people working on your home. You deserve clear communication, fast response times, and work that’s done right the first time. You deserve a roof that lasts—and a crew that doesn’t cut corners.
We provide free inspections (no gimmicks, no pressure), help you navigate the insurance maze, and offer financing options without the judgment or red tape. More importantly, we listen. We explain. We take care of your property like it’s our own.
Because this isn’t about us. It’s about you. Your roof. Your peace of mind.
So if you’re worried about a leak, preparing for hurricane season, or just want to make sure your roof is ready for whatever Florida throws your way call us. We’re not here to sell. We’re here to serve.
At the end of the day, we know what’s on the line—your home, your safety, your livelihood. That’s why we don’t just install roofs; we take ownership. We show up when others disappear. We take calls after hours. We fight for what’s fair with your insurance company. And we don’t stop until the job is done right. Our responsibility is to the families, homeowners, and business owners who trust us and we take that seriously. We’re not just roofing contractors. We’re the ones you call when it really matters.
