Our mission is to empower and foster a vibrant and thriving business community by having a commitment to inclusivity, sustainability, excellence, and advocacy for all businesses.
It is with great enthusiasm that we embrace an exciting new chapter in our community’s story— the merger of two of the area’s most respected Chambers of Commerce. By coming together, we are not just combining organizations; we are uniting our voices, our resources, and our vision for the future of business in our community. Both chambers have a long history of serving with integrity, building meaningful connections, and driving economic success. Together, we are stronger. This merger allows us to expand opportunities for our members, increase the value of your investment, and create a more powerful platform to advocate for local businesses at every level.
You can expect the same quality programs and events you’ve always valued—now enhanced by a broader network, deeper resources, and new collaborations. From innovative professional development and dynamic networking opportunities to stronger advocacy and community impact, the Brandon Riverview
Chamber of Commerce is built to deliver greater results for you and your business.
On behalf of the board, I want to thank you—our members—for your trust and support during this exciting transition. This is your chamber, and your involvement will be the driving force behind our success. We look forward to building a future where our business community thrives like never before. The Brandon Riverview Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) Military Affairs Committee is dedicated to serving and supporting our military (past, present and families) in the community through advocating and educating the Chamber and community in how they can assist and participate in enriching the lives of our military community.
Born in Ohio and raised in western Pennsylvania, Jill Andrew built a strong foundation of resilience and leadership from an early age. She attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania before answering the call to serve her country, dedicating more than six years to the United States Army— including three years stationed in Germany. Jill was part of a historic transition in military history, entering the last class of the Women’s Army Corps and becoming one of the first women to complete basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. She excelled from the start, graduating at the top of her class, earning the Distinguished Honor Graduate Medal, and qualifying as an Expert with the M16 rifle. Her military career advanced at the Academy of Health Sciences at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, where she again graduated #1 in her class as a 94F Hospital Food Service Specialist. Assigned to the prestigious 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas, Jill further distinguished herself by successfully challenging the 94B Food Service Specialist MOS exam a rare achievement at the
time—which allowed her to volunteer for summer duty at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania. Jill’s commitment to excellence carried her overseas with the 30th U.S. Army Field Hospital at Flak Kaserne in Augsburg, Germany, where she reenlisted for an additional three years of service. Over the course of her military career, she earned two Good Conduct Medals and two Army Commendation Medals, reflecting her professionalism, dedication, and trailblazing spirit.
Are you, or a member of your organization, a military veteran? We want to recognize you! Please click here to submit your information. Each month a military veteran is recognized at the CHCC Monthly Luncheon. We also encourage you to participate in the Military Affairs Committee!
On Tuesday, August 26, the Brandon Riverview Chamber of Commerce gathered at The Regent for our Monthly Member Luncheon a wonderful afternoon of networking, recognition, and inspiration.
The luncheon was proudly sponsored by AdventHealth, with guest speaker Dr. Cynthia Rowell, who shared an impactful message about the importance and influence of caring caregivers in the health industry. Her words reminded everyone how vital compassion is in healthcare and how it shapes the patient experience.
The program opened with a warm welcome from Board Chair Tammy See of OEL Heating and Air. Dave Lechuga with Florida Executive Realty offered a heartfelt invocation, and Mikey Blewett with Generations Church led attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance.
A highlight of the luncheon was the recognition of our Military Honoree for the Month, Jill Andrew with Tessera of Brandon. Her bio was read by Jeff Campbell, and the entire room rose to their feet with a standing ovation in appreciation of her service.
The Chamber also recognized and celebrated its community of members, introducing 38 new members and presenting them with certificates, as well as recognizing 39 renewing members. Board members, Ambassador Team members, and past Board members and presidents in attendance were introduced and thanked for their continued dedication.
This month’s Member Spotlight featured Two Men and a Truck, with Eugenia Parlow sharing about their services, and our Nonprofit Spotlight highlighted Impact Program, Inc., with Dr. Bill Kagey speaking about their important mission.
The event concluded with multiple door prizes, raffle drawings, and plenty of smiles. Lunch was provided by Mission BBQ, and we are grateful to our partners who made this event possible: The Regent for hosting, Messer Productions for audio support, and PamElla Photography for capturing the day. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to making this luncheon a success! We look forward to seeing you at next month’s event.
On Aug. 6, the Business and Education event, presented by AdventHealth, showcased member businesses who gave a warm welcome back to one of our area’s largest and most impactful workforces our educators! Members came together to support our schools and build strong community-business ties in a fun and memorable way.
The Brandon Riverview Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a vibrant Community Health & Wellness Fair, presented by AdventHealth, bringing together local businesses, healthcare providers, and community members for a day focused on healthy living.

The Impact Program is a nonprofit organization committed to equipping teens, parents, and educators with the tools they need to build strong, healthy relationships. Their mission is to empower young people to make positive life choices and develop the confidence and skills necessary to navigate adolescence successfully.
Through their flagship Teen IMPACT program, students participate in interactive workshops designed to foster self-worth, communication skills, and responsible decision-making. These sessions provide teens with practical strategies for handling peer pressure, building healthy relationships, and setting personal goals.
In addition to working with teens, Impact Program offers valuable resources for parents and educators. Parent workshops help families strengthen communication and create supportive home environments, while teacher engagement initiatives equip schools with tools to encourage student growth both academically and personally.
As an active member of the Chamber, Impact Program invites local businesses and community members to get involved. Opportunities include sponsoring programs, volunteering as mentors, and helping bring workshops to schools and community centers. To learn more or support their mission, visit whatisimpact.com.
