LAMDA*
Develop your Drama/Performance skills, creative expression and enhance your confidence through FUN drama games, improvisation, character development/stage direction and stage craft. It is not an expectation for the girls attending the class to take an exam. The process of preparing for and succeeding in a LAMDA examination helps learners, whatever their aspirations, to develop a broad range of skills that will serve them throughout life. LAMDA examinations develop a learner's ability to: Read easily, fluently and with good understanding; Expand vocabulary to improve powers of selfexpression; Improve confidence in speaking and listening; Memorise and recall information; Research and create persuasive formal presentations; Engage in constructive informal conversation; Work both on their own and participate as a member of a team.
Film Making*
The Film Making club is your chance to act, direct or operate the camera in your very own productions. We emphasise teamwork, exploring a range of creative tasks and providing an exciting platform to explore different roles in filmmaking. From book to film adaptations, to live action remakes, TV Presenting, stop motion and more, this club appeals to those who love to perform, and those with an interest in the technical side. Come aboard and let's start making movies!
Choir
We love to sing at Godstowe. During our Form I and Form II or Lowers Choir rehearsals, we learn warm up exercises as well as a range of songs from film, pop and musical theatre. Students sing in 2part harmony and perform from memory in concerts at the end of each term. All girls are expected to join the choir for their respective age groups.

Music Mania
Music Mania is a fun club where students can play music together on boomwhackers, classroom percussion instruments, keyboards and ukuleles. From reading graphic notation and traditional music notation to creating their own musical compositions, the goal is to have fun through music. It is not a requirement to be able to read music or already play an instrument to sign up for Music Mania.
Windband - by invitation only
Windband welcomes any students, learning in or out of school on wind, brass or percussion instruments, keen to take part in ensemble music around grade 2 and above, on recommendation and support of their instrumental teacher. The group offers a fun and dynamic foundation in ensemble skills prior to school orchestra, playing original and popular/familiar music for everyones enjoyment.
Forte Fiddlers - by invitation only
The Forte Fiddlers is an ensemble of junior violin and viola players who enjoy meeting once a week to make music together and learn from one another. The girls enjoy playing music in a range of styles and all participants are invited to ‘lead’ part of the rehearsal and to find their own creative ways of performing, listening and responding to one another. The Forte Fiddlers work towards performances in school and sometimes in external music festivals.
