LAMDA*

Develop your Drama/Performance skills, creative expression and enhance your confidence through FUN drama games, improvisation, character development/stage direction and stage craft. It is not an expectation for the girls attending the class to take an exam. The process of preparing for and succeeding in a LAMDA examination helps learners, whatever their aspirations, to develop a broad range of skills that will serve them throughout life. LAMDA examinations develop a learner's ability to: Read easily, fluently and with good understanding; Expand vocabulary to improve powers of selfexpression; Improve confidence in speaking and listening; Memorise and recall information; Research and create persuasive formal presentations; Engage in constructive informal conversation; Work both on their own and participate as a member of a team.

Film Making*

The Film Making club is your chance to act, direct or operate the camera in your very own productions. We emphasise teamwork, exploring a range of creative tasks and providing an exciting platform to explore different roles in filmmaking. From book to film adaptations, to live action remakes, TV Presenting, stop motion and more, this club appeals to those who love to perform, and those with an interest in the technical side. Come aboard and let's start making movies!

Choir

We love to sing at Godstowe. During our weekly rehearsals we learn warm up exercises as well as a wide range of songs from film, pop and musical theatre. Students sing in 2 part harmony and perform from memory in concerts at the end of each term. Middles prepare for a 4 day Choir Tour whilst Uppers and Fourths taking part in a Young Voices Concert.
