The app supports coaches and players in the use of Goal Station The app contains a range of basic drills focusing on improving fundamental skills like first touch, short pass and first pass Drills are set up using IgniteTrainers (light sensors)
The app allows coaches to create training sessions with drills and players, create customized drills and explore statistics from training sessions.
The app also allows players to run basic drills with IgniteTrainers, explore their own statistics, compete with friends and customize player profile.
Goal StationApp is available on both tablet and phone (iOS andAndroid), and user profile can be used to log in on both

IgniteTrainers are the intelligent sensors used to execute drills in Goal Station. Ignite Trainers are distributed by Goal Station.
IgniteTrainers are delivered to Goal Station byA-Champs IgniteTrainers are uniquely configured to match Goal Station rebounders and connect to the Goal StationApp to be used in Goal Station drills
IgniteTrainers connect through BlueTooth to mobile devices
The Goal StationApp has the following limitations
Only IgniteTrainers can be used with Goal StationApp No other sensors can be connected
Goal Station recommends limiting the number of IgniteTrainers to 6 per device Due to variations in the limitations on BlueTooth components and BlueTooth protocols, the number may vary between supported devices
Goal Station recommends keeping the distance between mobile devices and IgniteTrainers below 15 meters Due variations in BlueTooth components the distance may vary between 10 and 25 meters
You can sign up as a user in Goal StationApp in various ways
You can sign up by using your phone number Click on “Sign up with my phone” and follow the instructions.After providing your phone number, you will receive a verification code. Enter the code and log in
You can sign up by using your email Click on “Sign up with my email” and follow the instructions. Provide your email and a password of your choice.
You can sign up as a user using your existing accounts from both Google andApple. Choose this option if you would like to use these credentials.
If you previously have used Goal Station as a player, you have most likely created a user on the Goal Station PlayerApp
We have made sure that you can use your existing user profile in the new Goal StationApp, keeping track of all your historical results
Not only have we kept your profile, we also ensured that you can use your existing Player Name and password to log in on the new Goal StationApp If you can’t remember your Player Name, you can use the email you used when creating your profile or you can go to your old app and view it
Note: To log in with your old Player Name, you must type it exactly as it was in old Goal Station PlayerApp (including capital letters)
When you have downloaded the new Goal StationApp, you log in with the following steps.
1 Click on “Log in by my email/nickname”
2 Type in your Player Name or email address
3 Add your password
4. Click on log in
If you have forgotten your password, you can ask for a new one by clicking Forgot password
If you have created your profile using your phone number or you have added it to your profile, you can log in by clicking “Log in with my phone” Provide your phone number to receive a verification code Add the code and click Log in
If you have created your profile using your email address or you have added it to your profile, you can log in by clicking “Log in by my email/nickname”. Provide your email and password Add the code and click Log in
If you have created your user by using your Google orApple credentials, you can log in by using the same credentials
*Only available from tablet.
You can invite new users to the Goal StationApp On the Main page, go toTraining (blue box), click on Players and +New Player
Fill in the name of the user and provide a working phone number The invited user will now receive a SMS with a download link.
When you get invited to the Goal StationApp, you will need to log in with your phone number Click on “Log in with my phone” and provide the phone number used to invite you You will receive a verification code that is needed to log in
The Main page is where you will find access to the features available with the Goal Station App.

To enter your profile, click on the small icon on the top with your initials
Here you can add additional info to your profile, making it even more personalized
Provide a Nick name to make it easy for coaches to search for you
You can also see which teams you are connected to in the bottom
In the top right corner you are able to Sign out of your account
Note: to comply with GDPR regulations, all profiles have a default setting that prevents other users from viewing all player info but your name.You can unhide your personal info by clicking on Show info
Should you wish to leave the Goal Station family, you can delete your account at the bottom Please notice, data can’t be restored
You can use the Goal StationApp to connect IgniteTrainers.This can be done from both tablet and phone. Click on Lights to access the menu.
When entering the Lights menu, you can see if lights are added or not If no lights are added, click the buttonAdd lights
You turn on IgniteTrainers by placing your hand over the power button on the side of the Ignite Trainers. Hold your hand on the button till the IgniteTrainer turns green and vibrates
Keep your mobile device (tablet or phone) within a couple of meters to the IgniteTrainer when connecting
To connect the IgniteTrainer, click on the Light icon in the middle of the screen This will activate the IgniteTrainer, making it flash blue and then green
(please note, if the IgniteTrainer flashes yellow, you must tab it in order to connect)
When the light icon flashes on the screen, the IgniteTrainer is connected
You can now click on Next to add more lights or click on Done to exit the menu
In the Manage your lights screen you can see how many IgniteTrainers you have connected
To add more IgniteTrainers, click the +Add light button in the right corner
To manage your lights, click on the individual lights in the menu 2 buttons will appear at the bottom of the screen
If you would like to keep the IgniteTrainer turned on but not use it for a drill, you can click on Disconnect.You can reconnect by clicking the light
If you would like to turn off an IgniteTrainer, please clickTurn off
The IgniteTrainers will turn off automatically after 15 mins of no use
You will now be able to receive notifications with the GS app
In the right upper corner you will find a bell, indicating notifications
Click on the bell and the notification center opens If any new messages have been pushed, you will see it here.
As part of notifications you can also get push notifications, allowing you to be alerted that new messages have arrived
You are now ready to run your drill Click on Start drill to start the drill
The drill will count down from 3 Then one light will start to blink in a white color Kick the ball to the light, then the counter will start and the lights will blink in a blue color Turn off the light by kicking the ball to the rebounder
Note: a light can turn on more than one time (for example 2 times in a row) Keep your head high to know where to kick the ball next.
During the drill you can choose to pause the drill.This is done by clicking Pause drill.You can continue the drill when ready
You can also choose to end the drill, either while running the drill or between rounds Click on End in the top right corner
If you choose to end the drill before completing all rounds, you will be asked if you would like to save your results
If you choose to save your results, your results will be stored in Statistics
If you choose not to save, your results will be deleted
Your results from each round will be listed after the drill The best round will be listed first
From version 9.0.0 this feature is available with both tablet and smartphone version.
With Quick Start you are able to select one of the basic drills and not only play it yourself but also add one or of your friends to play with you
Please select Quick Start from the Main page menu
Then select a drill of your choice
When done selecting rounds and level,, you will be able to add one or more friends (other profiles) to the drill
It’s required that the other players have profiles in the GS app
Tap on Search and start typing the player name to find the profile you would like to add. Click on the name and click on select
You are now ready to start the drill (remember to have lights connected to the app
When you are done playing, each player will get the results in Statistics on their own profile
Then select number of round you would like to play
And the level you would like to use for the drill
In the Drills menu you will find all the drills you have access to in Goal StationApp. Here you can find short explanations for each basic drill, see what equipment you need to execute the drill and how to set up the drill
You can also start each drill by clicking Quick start in the top right corner Follow the Quick start guide to start the drill
When entering the Drills menu you will find an overview of the drills available to you
You can filter the drills to find the once that matches your needs Or search for a drill
In the bottom you will find an illustration describing how the drill should be set up
By clicking a drill in the overview you can access it to find out more
Here you can find information about the number of rebounders and lights needed, which sequence is used and what primary skill is practiced
It is also described how to set up the drill and how to perform it
Customized drills can only be set up on the tablet version. Saved drills will be available in Drills on both tablet and smartphone versions when using the same profile
Customized drills are used for creating new drills in the Goal Station app
New drills can be set up using 3 different sequence engines: Normal sequence: this sequence runs the lights in a random order based on the number of hits chosen for the drill Home 2 base: this sequence has a base light and a number of target lights, depending on the number of lights chosen for the drill. When running the drill, the player has to come back to the base for each time a target light has been turned off Indicator sequence: this sequence has an indicator to prepare the player for where to go next The indicator is the second light flashing at the same time as the target light
All sequences have a range of settings that can be adjusted to create the drill exactly as needed
To work with Customized drills, go to Drills on your tablet GS app Here you will find the option +New Drill in the right corner
To set up a new drill you must start off by adding a name to the drill
If you don’t know how to get started with the drill, you can import settings from a basic drill or a drill you have already set up
If you don’t import settings, choose the sequence you would like to base your drill on
Next is choosing the flashing mode This is how the lights flash during a drill
Last up is choosing the color of the lights
When all settings are filled in, press Save.Your drill is now ready
Now set the number of hits for the drill
Set the number of lights and the number of rebounders
Set the delay (the time from one light turns off till the next one turns on) and set the time out (the time a light is turned on before it turns off if not hit).
Set sensitivity and set the skill practiced with this drill (used for filtering).
When you have saved your drill you can see it in the drill overview
If you would like to edit it, click on the drill (tablet version only)
If you would like to run the drill, go to Quick Start or add it to a training session (tablet version only)
For the smartphone version, you can run the drill from Quick Start and from Drills
If you choose Home 2 base, you will need to choose the flashing and color of lights for both the base light and the target lights.
If you choose Indicator, you will need to choose the flashing and color of lights for both the target light and the indicator light
Coaching orTraining is where you prepare your training as a coach. Here you can set up training sessions, create teams and connect with players that you coach
You can assign players to specific drills in a training session, plan ahead, reuse training sessions and much more
Coaching mode is only available on the tablet version You can log in to your account on multiple devices at the same time.
Note: to add players to your training session, you must connect with them first under Players.
In Planning you can plan your training by creating training sessions
EnterTraining by clicking on the blue box on the Main page.
In Planning you can see all the training sessions you have created.
Add new training sessions by clicking +New training session.
You start your training session by adding either drills, players, date/time or a name for the session
After selecting your drills, you will get back to the planning of your training session
Add players to a drill by clicking onAdd players. You can also add a name or date/time
If you choose to add drills to your training session, you will get an overview of the drills available to you.
You can add one or more drills at a time Click on the drills you would like to add.
When you want to players to a drill, you will get a list of players you already have connected with Click on the players you would like to add and click Select
If you have createdTeams or groups within the teams, you can click onTeams or Groups to use these for filtering
Note: to add players to your training session, you must connect with them first under Players.
After selecting players you can add more drills and players
When you are done, press Save in the top right corner
When you have created your training session and saved it, you will get back to your planning overview
If you would like to review or change a specific training session, click on the training session you would like to change.
Teams allows you to organize your players in teams that match your needs in practice.
Teams not only allows you to organize teams but also allows you to set up groups within the teams This means that you can add your entire squad to the same team and then create smaller groups, for example Defense, Midfield,Atack.
InTeams you can see all the teams you have created
If you would like to add a new team, click on +New team
After you have added a team name, you can start to add players
You can do this in 3 ways.
Add players from my club
Add players not from my club
Invite a new player
Add a name for your team and click Next
Click onAdd players from my club if you would like to add players from the list of players you have connected with
If you would like to add players that you have not connected with yet, click onAdd players not from my club.
You can search for players by providing the players phone number, email or you can start typing the players name to get a list of players
Finally you can add groups. Use this to divide your team into smaller groups
Click on +New group and provide a name for the group
If you would like to add a new player to Goal Station, you can invite the player by providing the first and last name of the player and a phone number
When you click Invite, the player receives a SMS with a link for downloading the app
You can use the player as soon as you have sent the invite Results will be stored and the player will get them as soon as logging in with the phone number used for the invite
When you have created the group, do a long press on the group to add players to it
Here you can drag and drop the players you would like to add to the group
In the Players menu you can see all the players you have connected with.You can use the players when setting up teams and creating training sessions.
In Players you get an overview of all players you have connected with
To add a new player, click on +New player
If you would like to add players that you have not connected with yet, click onAdd players not from my club.
You can search for players by providing the players phone number, email or you can start typing the players name to get a list of players
You can add players in 2 different ways
Add players not from my club or invite a new player
If you would like to add a new player to Goal Station, you can invite the player by providing the first and last name of the player and a phone number
When you click Invite, the player receives a SMS with a link for downloading the app
You can use the player as soon as you have sent the invite Results will be stored and the player will get them as soon as logging in with the phone number used for the invite.
Getting your results and following your progression as a player is essential.And the same is it to coaches who are interested in how each training session went
In Statistics you can see the results from the training sessions you have held
Click on the training session you would like to explore and find the best results from each drill, every player's performance and all the rounds performed.
Note: only available on the tablet version
You can also enter your own results achieved as a player
Click on My statistics to view the results Explore the best results from each drill.
Or click on the arrow on the right to see all the rounds from that day on each drill.
Also available on phone version
You can keep using the Ignite Controller as a coach This means that you can still connect IgniteTrainers to the app and perform drills.You can use the app to set up Customized drills. And you can use players to create teams and/or add the players to a drill to provide them with results
All results coming from the old Coach app on Ignite Controllers will be transferred to the Goal StationApp
You can also use newly created players in the old Coach app, making it as useful as it has always been
Two different menus have been created for providing help to the user.
