Life has changed dramatically for all of us; whatever was planned and whatever new-year resolutions were made, we are now in a different space and time, where the old is no longer the norm. At the same time, it became clear that the unchanging things are those that are difficult to define but crucial to have as a basis: respect, honour, honesty, compassion, empathy and more. Values has come to the fore as defining aspects and very often the mainstay for survival. Spring is in the air, with the start of thunderstorms, late-afternoon rains and beautiful flowers blossoming all part of the changing seasons. It is also a great time to focus on the rejuvenation of nature and spirit!
of the Internet Service Provider we used, resulted in many e-mails being send to residents with a Trojan file attached. We have resolved the matter to prevent this from happening going forward, however we still have mails going to residents from the old mailboxes. Please look carefully at e-mails coming from us and if it is not stating “@the-wilds.co.za in the sender`s name, please delete it. Enjoy reading the e-Trumpeter

5 Levels of risk has been determined. We are on alert level 2. CLICK HERE for a detailed summary
In essence, the basic rules are: • Stay at home, • Only go out to purchase essential goods (food, medicine) or to go to hospital or a funeral or to fill up, • Wear a mask when going out, • Do keep the social distance of at least 1 meter. • Sanitise, very often.

LEVEL 2 LOCKDOWN THE NATIONAL STATE OF DISASTER HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 15 SEPTEMBER 2020.

It is once again important to inform owners that the HOA Office requires a copy of: 1. An Occupancy Certificate. The number on this document must tie-up with the Approved Tshwane Plans that the HOA office also requires. The building must match the plan when the physical inspection take place for the transfer of the property to be finalized. 2. We request owners to firstly contact the HOA office to ensure that the office indeed has copies of these documents before a home is listed, or a purchase agreement signed as it can take months for the owner to obtain these documents from the Council. This includes both Sectional Tile Units and Full Title Homes.
10
Selling your property (CONT.)
1. Clearance will be placed on hold, until the HOA office has received these documents, and for the property inspection to be approved before the clearance will be signed. We strive to finalise Clearances for the Sale of a Property to take place as quickly as possible but cannot do so if the documents are not on the HOA files. It remains the current owner’s responsibility to ensure that these documents are on the HOA files, even if the property is not for sale. Note, you may sell your home privately, and if you make use of an Estate Agent, the Agent must be registered at the HOA Office. Extract - Received from our Ward Councillor: Property Registration, Clearance Certificates, Building Plans & Inspections. Although estate agents are now allowed to work and sell properties, the City of Tshwane has not yet opened the financial section (for clearance certificates) or the town planning departments. As a result: No *clearance certificates* are being issued. If you plan on selling your property make provision for an extension to the offer to purchase to allow for a clearance certificate to be issued. If you *plan to develop or make application for consent-use* - bear in mind no town planning applications are being processed - make provision for this in your contract with the town planner. The *architectural profession* also hugely impacted by building control being closed. No approval of plans or building inspectors. Our aesthetics committee are doing their inspections and related tasks, where so possible.

NEWS
Committees at Work The various committees are resuming their functions now and aspects such as lighting around the estate, cameras at critical junctions, development of the park and more, are all now subject of action plans. In our next issue this will be discussed in detail.
The Park in The Wilds This area is now being developed slowly and surely, in order to become a serene and quiet place to visit, enjoy and relax. Registered Service Providers The normal registered service providers are now allowed into the estate, but must adhere to the following rules: • They must be permitted as a business to operate, being an approved provider of essential goods or services, and the driver must likewise be permitted to do the deliveries. • With regards to residents doing business inside the estate, the situation is that we are well aware of the severe constriction of economic activity and do not wish to limit the activities of our members. There are, however, stringent regulations which has to be applied at all times. Gardens

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and set a bowl of ice water nearby. Blanch the asparagus for about 1 minute, until tender but still bright green.
