Long service: John McCulloch retirement After 21 years of service, we are bidding farewell to Operative, John ‘Jock’ McCulloch as he takes up early retirement. We spoke with John about some of his highlights at Mackenzie Construction and his plans for retirement. “I’ve got many highlights from my time with Mackenzie Construction. I was very fortunate to have always worked alongside a great group of guys and have made some solid friendships over the years.”

Having worked across many different projects, John recalled our work with the Glasgow Housing Association as particularly memorable, with a good team and an interesting variety of work. More recently, he has supported on work in the water sector, working across the country on projects with Scottish Water and Severn Trent.

He finished, “I cannot fault Mackenzie Construction as an employer and what they’ve done for me over the years, affording me the lifestyle I have. My wife has already had me doing some work around the house but we’re looking forward to some holidays next year!” We’d like to thank John for his years of service and wish him all the best in his retirement!

Long service achievements We’d like to wish a very big congratulations to all our team hitting their long service milestones with Mackenzie Construction.
