LOVE THAT STOPPED TIME

This is a story written with the number eleven. Anderson was born on October 11th, Paulina on May 11th. They became a couple on the 11th, and they are getting married also on the 11th. And it all began with one thing – one look that stopped time.

It was 2015. They were standing in a circle among friends, seemingly part of the crowd, yet it felt as if they were alone together. Their eyes met for a moment, and the world around them fell silent. Paulina couldn’t hear what others were saying, and Anderson… years later, he admitted that time stopped for him too in that moment. Fate brought them together for a brief moment, but as fate often does – it had great plans for them.

Paulina waited for the right moment to confess what she felt. She had liked Anderson for a long time – she even once told a friend that he had beautiful eyes, and that friend told him.

“Nothing ventured, nothing gained,” she thought one day, standing in front of the school waiting for Anderson. When she finally gathered the courage, everything unfolded like in a movie. They started messaging each other every day, and she would tell her dad, “I think he’s the one.” She would come to school parties, but not for the music or the dancing – just for him. And when her family asked where she was going at 11 PM, she would reply with an innocent smile that she needed to check the bus schedule – which, of course, was just a cover for meeting Anderson, who happened to be nearby.

In November 2017, words were spoken that changed everything. Anderson looked

into Paulina’s eyes and said, “I love you.” She was speechless, and then – overwhelmed with emotion – she called her grandmother and her dad. Because when the heart beats so strongly, you just have to share it with the whole world.

When Anderson visited Paulina’s home for the first time, her dad, as a proper future father-in-law, decided to test his sense of humor.

In the background, the song “Majteczki w kropeczki” played, and the smell of cabbage her mother was cooking filled the air as he entered. Paulina wondered if he would pass this test. He did. And how!

They were inseparable –together at their senior prom, where they were nominated for Prom Queen and King, together on a trip to Paris, and then in every free moment, because even though Anderson had to travel for his studies, they always found time for each other.

Every anniversary, every Valentine’s Day, Anderson surprised Paulina. One time, he gave her an eternal rose that will never wilt – just like their love. They traveled together, collecting memories – Cyprus, Mallorca, Mexico, Dubai… He was even by her side when, during their first vacation together, she had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. He didn’t leave her for a moment, and she realized then that she could count on him in any situation.

When Anderson first came to Poland in 2019, they spent time with Paulina’s grandparents. Not long after, she visited Estonia.

Then came the pandemic –long phone conversations became their everyday routine. They got through it too, because their love was stronger than anything else.

Finally, that special day arrived. Switzerland, a starry night, a view of the mountains, and a candle-lit jacuzzi… Paulina was preparing a surprise for Anderson – an extra night before their trip to Milan, but he had something even more special up his sleeve – he had hidden a ring in his suitcase.

When he knelt down, the world once again stopped for a moment. Moments later, Paulina was calling her mom, brother, and dad, crying with joy, because that’s when she realized that someone truly loved her. This marked the beginning of a new chapter for them: engagement.

Today, they are a team. They support each other when things go wrong. Paulina – full of emotion, Anderson – calm and composed.

She loves to dance and take care of dogs, he loves to record music and cook. She cleans, he makes a mess.

Two opposites that complement each other.

This love was written in the stars for them. From that very first glance that stopped time.

They say that love is at its most beautiful when it can be shared. That’s why today we want to share it with you!

Thank you for accepting our invitation and coming here in such great numbers to celebrate with us. With this kind of support, we know that the love that brought us together will only grow stronger with each passing year. Your presence here is the best gift we could ask for. We hope this day will be remembered in our shared story as a wonderful memory. Eat, drink, and dance until dawn, but don’t forget that after every great party, you go home with a slightly heavier head. Have fun!

CHEERS!

NEWS FROM THE DANCE FLOOR

Whispers about it have been circulating for months, and questions were on everyone’s lips. Now, it’s all clear! Here is the song to which Paulina and Anderson will dance their first, unique, and unforgettable dance as husband and wife.

They will step onto the dance floor to “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding – a song Paulina fell in love with back in her school days, before her and Anderson’s eyes first met in a crowd. It’s a song about opening up to love, about trust, and about how someone can become the light in our world. It played softly in the background of their journey – and now it will play loud and clear, with all its power.

You’re the light, you’re the night

You’re the color of my blood

You’re the cure, you’re the pain

You’re the only thing I wanna touch

This line, opening the song, beautifully captures the feeling of absolute enchantment with another person – the kind that changes your whole world… for the better.

Love me like you do

La-la-love me like you do

Touch me like you do

Ta-ta-touch me like you do

What are you waiting for?

The chorus, in turn, is an emotional explosion – a cry for love, passion, and trust. A perfect moment for closeness and a deep look into each other’s eyes...

So, Dear Guests – have your tissues ready. The lights are dimming, the dance floor is waiting, and love is stepping onto it with a dance.

One of the great joys of falling in love is the feeling that the most extraordinary person in the entire world has chosen you.

THEY WERE THE FIRST TO SAY “I DO”

THROUGH BUILDING A LIFE TOGETHER, WE DISCOVER NOT JUST WHO THEY ARE, BUT WHO WE ARE MEANT TO BE.

How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
