For your perfect Pride closing feeling DJ ABEL (USA) will take you on an all night long experience at the Pride AFTER. He will start on Sunday August 6 at midnight at WesterUnie and will take you on a 7 hours long lasting musical journey till Monday-early morning.

De zestiende editie van Antwerp Pride vindt dit jaar plaats van woensdag 9 tot en met zondag 13 augustus. Het thema van dit jaar is ‘Braveolution’, waarbij Antwerp Pride streeft naar het creëren van een veilige en respectvolle omgeving voor iedereen, het hele jaar door. Daarnaast roept Antwerp Pride de hele samenleving op om op te komen tegen elke vorm van discriminatie.

Het programma van Antwerp Pride begint met een openingsavond in het Openluchttheater Ter Rivierenhof op 9 augustus met optredens van Quatsch Collective, Martha Da’ Ro, Grace, Grigri Y El Macho Fantastico en DJ SAHЯA. Op 12 augustus vindt de Antwerp Pride Parade plaats, gevolgd door het Love United Festival met allerlei dj’s op de Scheldekaaien.

Op 13 augustus is er het Closing Festival met optredens van diverse artiesten, waaronder Carolina Dijkhuizen en Gustaph, de Belgische sensatie op Eurovision dit jaar. Daarnaast zijn er nog debatten en workshops rond het thema.

The sixteenth edition of Antwerp Pride will take place Wednesday 9 to Sunday, August 13. This year’s theme is ‘Braveolution’, with Antwerp Pride aiming to create a safe and respectful environment for everyone, all year round. Antwerp Pride calls on the whole of society to stand up against any form of discrimination.

The Antwerp Pride programme begins with an opening night at Open Air Theatre Ter Rivierenhof on August 9th, with performances by Quatsch Collective, Martha Da’ Ro, Grace, Grigri Y El Macho Fantastico, and DJ SAHЯA.

The Antwerp Pride Parade will take place on August 12, followed by the Love United Festival with all kinds of DJs on the quays of the Schelde river in the centre of Antwerp. On August 13, the Closing Festival with performances by various artists, including Carolina Dijkhuizen and Gustaph, the Belgian sensation at Eurovision this year, will close the Pride.

During this Pride, there are also debates and workshops pertaining the theme of Antwerp Pride.

In addition to the main events, parties and other festivities are organized by partners of Antwerp Pride, with the entire city in rainbow colours.
