MILANO ARCH WEEK

7 - 11 giugno 2023

Dal 7 all’ 11 giugno torna a Milano l’evento dedicato all’architettura, alle trasformazioni urbane e al futuro delle città. Il tema di quest’anno, Waiting for Peripheries, si propone come un momento di confronto sulle energie sociali e culturali della città, volto ad avviare una riflessione collettiva sulle periferie. La manifestazione si apre al dialogo con le diverse istituzioni e i quartieri della città, coinvolgendo attività e iniziative locali, e raccontando la natura policentrica, complessa e vitale di Milano. Per riflettere su questi temi sono stati invitati architetti e designer internazionali, studi e professionisti emergenti, urbanisti e paesaggisti.

Il Politecnico di Milano e Triennale Milano saranno le sedi principali di Milano Arch Week, ospitando come per le passate edizioni tavoli di lavoro, talk, lecture e workshop.

Milan Arch Week

June 7 - 11, 2023

From June 7 to June 11, the event dedicated to architecture, urban transformations and the future of cities returns to Milan. This year’s theme, Waiting for Peripheries, is proposed as a moment of confrontation on the social and cultural energies of the city, aimed at initiating a collective reflection on the suburbs. The event opens to dialogue with the city’s various institutions and neighborhoods, involving local activities and initiatives, and telling the story of Milan’s polycentric, complex and vital nature. International architects and designers, emerging studios and professionals, urban planners and landscape architects have been invited to reflect on these issues.

Politecnico di Milano and Triennale Milano will be the main venues of Milano Arch Week, hosting as in past editions working tables, talks, lectures and workshops.

Villa d’Este celebrates the legendary Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Villa d’Este, a unique and special car that bears its very name. The twelfth edition of One Lake One Car, an exclusive journey to discover the Alfa Romeo myth, will be held on June 10: some examples of the Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS model, out of the twenty still in existence, will be the undisputed protagonists of the day, together with a careful selection of cars illustrating the various versions and bodies of the 6C 2500. Event by invitation only.

Per cinque giorni il meglio delle tendenze della moda maschile torna a Milano per l’edizione estiva della Milano Fashion Week Men (nota anche come Milano Moda Uomo).

In questa occasione, le novità del prêt-à-porter e degli accessori da uomo per la stagione Primavera/Estate 2024 vengono presentate in anteprima alla stampa e ai professionisti del settore moda. Durante la settimana della moda, alcune delle più importanti destinazioni della città, tra cui spazi espositivi e showroom, sono animate da sfilate, presentazioni ed eventi riservati che vedono la partecipazione dei migliori stilisti italiani.

For five days, the best of men’s fashion trends return to Milan for the summer edition of Milano Fashion Week Men (also known as Milano Moda Uomo).

On this occasion, the latest men’s ready-to-wear and accessories for the Spring/Summer 2024 season are presented to the press and fashion industry professionals. During Fashion Week, some of the city’s most important destinations, including exhibition spaces and showrooms, are animated by fashion shows, presentations and reserved events featuring top Italian designers.

MILANO PRIDE

22 - 24 giugno 2023

Giugno è il Pride Month, dedicato alla celebrazione della comunità LGBTQIA+. Come ogni anno, Milano Pride comprenderà una serie di eventi e iniziative di sensibilizzazione alle tematiche queer-friendly e dei diritti civili, con la maggior parte di questi che verranno organizzati all’interno della Casa dei Diritti, per poi concludersi con la consueta sfilata che percorre tutte le vie della città, dalla Stazione Centrale fino all’Arco della Pace.

Pride Square il 22 e 23 giugno 2023 e Parata con evento finale il 24 giugno 2023.

Milan Pride

June 22 - 24, 2023

June is Pride Month, dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. Like every year, Milano Pride will include a series of events and initiatives to raise awareness of queer-friendly and civil rights issues, with most of these to be organized inside the House of Rights, and then concluding with the usual parade that runs through all the streets of the city, from the Central Station to the Arco della Pace.

Pride Square on June 22 and 23, 2023 and Parade with final event on June 24, 2023.
