B.T.M Brass Band Celebrations
The B.T.M. (Bedwas, Trethomas & Machen) Brass Band will be celebrating its 40th anniversary by holding a special concert at Bedwas Workmen’s Hall on 23rd June at 7pm. The B.T.M Band has been at the forefront of amateur music in the Caerphilly Borough (and beyond) since its creation in 1972, and has been a successful Championship-section band since it gained that status in the mid-80s.
It will also celebrate the resurgence of the B.T.M Band: The Next Generation, which is the band’s junior section, and showcase its quality, as well as introduce you to the brass and percussion stars of the future.
The Band is one of the finest of its kind in Wales, and has represented Wales at the National Championships a total of 11 times (as well as at the European Championships twice).
This really is a concert not to be missed!
