Civil Service Retirement Fellowship Venue: Windsor Road Church, Windsor St, Caerphilly, CF83 1FW Second Tuesday of every month Time: 10:15am Cost £1.00 per person All Civil Service Pensioners and their partners and friends are welcome for a chat and refreshments. Speakers or other activities are also included. Van over 50’s Club Cole Court, Mornington Meadows We meet every Wednesday between 12.30 - 4.30pm. Open Days St Barrwgs Church, Church Street, Bedwas. Saturdays throughout the summer from 10am to 2pm. The opening date is May 12th. We extend a warm welcome to visitors to our church on volunteers will be on hand to provide refreshments and information if needed but perhaps you would simply like to sit and enjoy the tranquility of our peaceful 900 year old church.

Machen Bowls Ladies’ Day in aid of Breast Cancer Care Venue: Machen Bowling Club Date: Sunday 5th August Time: 2.00p.m. – 5.30p.m. We extend a warm welcome to all ladies who would like to try a game of bowls and to experienced players who may wish to join our team. Refreshments will be served throughout the afternoon and there will be a cake sale, raffle and ‘bring and buy’ in aid of Breast Cancer Care. Please remember to bring a pair of flat soled shoes. St Catherine’s Church Wednesday Drop In Venue: St Catherine’s Church Hall, Maes-y-Felin, off Mill Road, Caerphilly, CF83 3NH Time: 2.30pm to 4pm Last Wednesday of the month. Everyone is welcome to our wide range of talks and activities. Speakers have come from organisations such as Can Do, the local disability advocacy service and Mary’s Meals, supporting meals for children in Africa. Plans include talks from a JP and the Mothers Union and story telling and a bingo session. Refreshments and a raffle. Notices “STAMTRAM would like to invite you all to our next local event in our quest to raise £1,000,000 for Autism Cymru, Four Paws Animal Rescue, Princes Trust & Ty Hafan. We have an all day family fun day at the Trecenydd Community Centre on Saturday August 11th. This will be a great opportunity to have plenty of fun and raise money for four wonderful charities at the same time.
