FURYGAN S’EST CONSTRUIT SUR DES VALEURS FURYGAN’S COMPANY CULTURE WAS BUILT ON VALUES

our le Racing Service Furygan, 2017 marquera la montée en MotoGP de Johann Zarco et la mise en place d’une structure dédiée aux pilotes sur chaque Grand Prix. Nous sommes fiers de poursuivre cette collaboration avec Johann – avec lequel Furygan est déjà double champion du monde Moto2 – dans sa nouvelle aventure avec le team Tech 3.
Notre partenariat avec Johann se prolonge via ZF Grand Prix School, une idée généreuse qui permet aux enfants, à partir de 6 ans, de poser un pied en vitesse et pourquoi pas un jour ? d’accéder au mondial en suivant un cursus parfaitement établi. Johann et son complice, Laurent Fellon, y croient à fond et nous partageons leur enthousiasme. Afin d’accompagner cette dynamique, Furygan a créé spécialement des combinaisons pour les jeunes talents, avec la même exigence que pour nos espoirs en Grands Prix, tels Jules Danilo ou Iker Lecuona. Transmettre ses connaissances, partager une expérience, donner de l’impulsion aux idées pour les voir se concrétiser… autant de valeurs qui unissent Furygan, Johann et Laurent. Chas Mortimer, en son temps, en 1972, portait, lui aussi, les couleurs Furygan, avec une simple poignée de main en guise de contrat. Lorsqu’il passait dans notre usine de Nîmes, il prenait le temps de déjeuner. Parfois, il séjournait à la maison, entre deux Grands Prix. Aujourd’hui, à 68 ans, Chas roule toujours Furygan, avec la même classe. La fidélité et l’amitié sont d’autres valeurs en lesquelles nous croyons et qui forgent l’histoire de Furygan depuis 1969. We’ve taken our support for Johann one step further with the ZF Grand Prix School. This big-hearted initiative gives kids aged 6 and up a chance to dip their toe into racing and perhaps make it all the way to the world championship after going through this well-thought-out training course. Johann and his long-time associate Laurent Fellon are totally invested in the school, and we share their enthusiasm. At Furygan, we’re backing this exciting initiative by designing custom-made suits for these kids with the same painstaking care we put into suits for our young Grand Prix talent, like Jules Danilo and Iker Lecuona. Handing down knowledge, sharing experiences and helping to transform great ideas into reality: these are all values Furygan has in common with Johann and Laurent.

Back in 1972, Chas Mortimer also wore the Furygan colours. A simple handshake sealed that contract. He would stay for lunch whenever he visited our factory in Nîmes, and he was occasionally a guest in our home between Grand Prix races. Today, at 68, Chas still rides wearing Furygan, and he’s as classy as ever. Loyalty and friendship, too, are values we believe in. They’ve been part of Furygan’s history since our beginnings in 1969.
