Aleta Royal’s journey from her roots in Quito, Ecuador, to becoming a thriving insurance professional in Allen County, Indiana, is one of perseverance, faith, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. Adopted at 18 months by a loving couple, Aleta’s childhood was one of balance and determination. Her father worked for General Motors in Marion for 30 years, while her mother shuttled Aleta and her four siblings to practices, school events, and community activities. It was in this environment of hard work and love that Aleta learned the values that would shape her life: responsibility, dedication, and the importance of strong family ties.

Growing up, Aleta was always active—gymnastics and cheerleading keeping her busy throughout middle and high school. It was during this time that she developed the strong sense of discipline and teamwork that would serve her in her professional life. But it was her mother who truly set the example of what it meant to be a strong, confident woman. “She taught me to never back down and always believe in myself,” Aleta says with a smile, reflecting on her mother's influence.

This was the birth of Royal Insurance Solutions Inc., a company that specializes in Medicare, health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Breakfast Naan Pizza

Ingredients:

1 whole-wheat naan

2 tablespoons part-skim ricotta cheese

1 tablespoon low-sodium marinara or pesto

½ teaspoon lemon zest

1 large egg

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

Chopped fresh basil and ground pepper

Preheat oven to 425°F. Coat a rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray. Place naan on the prepared pan. Mix ricotta, marinara (or pesto) and lemon zest in a small bowl. Spread the mixture onto the naan, creating a well in the center. Carefully crack egg into the well. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake until the naan is golden, the egg white is set and the cheese is melted, 8 to 10

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups frozen strawberries

1 cup chilled unsweetened chocolate almond milk, plus more if needed

1 tablespoon almond butter

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tablespoon honey

Instructions:

Combine strawberries, almond milk, almond butter, cocoa and honey in a blender. Process until smooth, adding more almond milk, if needed, for desired consistency. Serve immediately.
