The English course B1- is a course that allows developing communication skills in the English language area, with the purpose of obtaining the next level: B1. This course contributes to the development of competences "Applies their communication skills in different contexts" and "Employs information and communication technologies", which belong to the profile of the degree of Preschool Education. It’s important mentioning that I am studying an English course in an extracurricular way, at the Language Teaching Center UAEM Zumpango (CELe Zumpango), where classes are every Saturday and during 5 hours. The first competition is divided into two units: · ●

Develop their communication skills to acquire new languages,

·

Use a second language to communicate.

Which were favored permanently into the classes at the Normal School of Tecámac, and especially with the English course at CELe Zumpango, where classes are 100% taught in English. In this course, the teacher is responsible for introducing the subject with some questions and the activities that are indicated in the book English File. During the development of the lessons, we review and make listening exercises, grammar, writing, but especially practice speaking, because the teacher makes extra activities by integrating into teams, which are mostly exercises to exchange information through questions. In the same way, the communication in social networks with both teachers is in English at all times, because it is another way to practice my communication skills and my knowledge about English language. This space allows me identify the weaknesses that are present in my speech, like certain elements that I confuse or use in a wrong way, in addition, the teacher can observe my progress in the level outside of class. The second competition has only one unit, which is "Participate in work communities and collaborative networks through the use of technology". This has developed steadily in the Normal course, because the teacher works with the Edmodo platform. This platform, within its different functions, allows students to share some works and be able to comment, either to share that we agree or disagree with some points in their texts. This competence is linked to the first one, because the texts we create


and the comments we make must be in English, where is why communication skills are at stake. These competences can be favored at a higher level when browsing websites designed entirely in English, which can be pages that share texts or forums on a topic related to education or that corresponds to my interests. Similarly, exploring English teaching portals is another proposal, because they contain examples of the contents addressed in classes and activities to strengthen them.
