The 505-20E full electric Loadall telescopic handler is powered by a 96V lithium ion battery and is capable of full shift operation. It has a maximum load capacity of 5,250 lbs. with a maximum lift height of 20 ft. A 23-hp traction motor drives through a permanent four-wheel-drive drop box to JCB drive/ steer axles. The 30-hp hydraulic system motor powers a fixed-displacement gear pump while delivering a maximum 21 gpm of flow. The traction drive motor utilizes regenerative braking, instead of a traditional braking system, topping up the battery in the process. The hydraulic system also regenerates flow while lowering the boom, which reduces the power requirement and extends operating hours. The unit has a recharge period of 11 hours on 110V power.

JLG Industries offers Bi-Energy technology on its X770AJ and X1000AJ compact crawler boom lifts, reducing these machines’ noise and exhaust emissions. The system equips these JLG machines with two full-sized, independent power sources, combining an emissionsfree lithium-ion battery pack with a diesel engine to allow operators to work indoors and outside with one machine. The X770AJ comes with a 100Ah 76V lithiumion battery pack, while the X1000AJ has a 150Ah 76V lithium-ion battery pack. The lithium-ion batteries can be charged from an outlet at any time, including while the machine is in use. Both machines have a Kubota D902 21.6-hp at 3,200 rpm diesel engine.

Xtreme Manufacturing’s XR1585-C is the world’s tallest telehandler and features a five-section boom that delivers a maximum lift height of 85 ft and a maximum forward reach of 67 ft. with a 15,000 lb. maximum load capacity.

The XR1585-C was developed to meet the needs of customers who were asking for a machine with more reach and height capability. Xtreme started with the proven XR1570-C and added a fifth boom section and a class D chassis and powertrain to create a heavy-duty, robust machine that can handle the demands of lifting large loads to height.

The all-electric ATJ60E replaces the 42.9-hp diesel engine found on the ATJ60 boom lift with lead-acid batteries and two asynchronous electric motors that enable comparable performance with zero emissions. The unit has a working height of 65 ft., 7 in. and a platform height of 59 ft., 7 in. The basket has a 500-lb. capacity and features a large color monitor that displays information via an alert system. An integrated charger located on the turret can be used to recharge the lift via a standard 230-volt plug. Safety features include pedal presence in the basket, basket overload and tilt sensor, electric emergency pump, double rail and meshed floor and a secondary protection system.

Magni offers the RTH 6.46 rotating telescopic handler for large construction projects. This machine can be used in cities and congested jobsites where space for equipment is limited. Unlike a crane, the Magni RTH 6.46 rotating telescopic handler can be set up within minutes, combining compact mobility and maneuverability. It can lift a maximum 6 t, or 2.5 t to just under 46 m, from where a spider crane can distribute the loads to the higher floors. Volvo Penta and Magni engineers collaborated to enable the TAD 572 VE Tier 4 Final engine to fit within the tight confines of the engine compartment.

The ZT-1630 is designed for construction, facility maintenance and more. The ZT-1630 features a 16-ft. platform height and a working height of 22-ft. The ZT-1630’s pointand-go style drive allows movement in confined spaces and the proportional controls provide feather-like control for lift positioning and jobsite mobility. Schindler has updated the Schindler CLIMB Lift, extending compatibility with the Schindler 5500 and Schindler 7000. By offering CLIMB Lift with the Schindler 5500, the product is now capable of serving smaller buildings of 150 meters and below. In particular, the Schindler 5500 CLIMB Lift has been designed for Machine-Room-Less (MRL) elevator applications. The design, which was derived from the Schindler 7000 CLIMB Lift, doesn’t require a lifting platform. Schindler has also introduced a new design option, enabling integration with the building’s formwork during construction. By integrating the lifting platform and crash deck of the Schindler CLIMB Lift with the formwork, the entire system stays closer to the top of the building as construction advances.

Doosan offers 20 kVA to 50 kVA generators for construction projects in remote, outdoor areas. Upsized alternators in the portable generators enable operators to power equipment and start large motors on jobsites. The Doosan Intelligent Load Management System (ILMS), available as an option on most new Doosan Portable Power generators, helps protect from engine wet stacking. These generators have a digital control panel that displays the tachometer, oil pressure, coolant temperature and fuel level. A digital meter shows AC output, generator voltage and current.

The Honda EU3200i delivers more power than the Honda EU3000i Handi generator and in a portable package designed for smaller jobs and backup power. The EU3200i offers a range of features such as two-step starting, remote smartphone control, fuel efficiency, extended run times and a portable design. The Honda EU3200i provides 3,200 watts of power, a full 200 more watts than aHonda EU3000i Handi generator, and in a smaller package than generators in the same class. Further, users can double the available power by using an optional parallel kit linking a second EU3200i, boosting the total power to 6,400 watts with less space and weight than a single, high wattage generator. At 22.5 inches x 12.0 in. x 17.8 in., the EU3200i has the smallest footprint of any model in the Honda 3000-watt generator class. The generator also has integrated upper and lower handles at a weight of 59.1 lbs. A no-choke design requires only a flip of a switch and a pull on the recoil rope to power the unit on, and the user can monitor operations through a smartphone or the control panel.

At 41-lbs., the portable POWER MIG 211i has multiple lift points and inverter technology that reduces weight while maximizing power. The smallest electric robot in the Brokk range, at just 35-in. (880 millimeters) tall and 23.5-in. (597 millimeters) wide, the Brokk 70 fits through narrow doorways and into tight spaces for interior demolition applications. With a base weight of 1,235-lbs. (560 kilograms), it can be transported on a passenger elevator, streamlining top-down demolition projects in urban areas.

Chicago Pneumatic and Power Technique North America’s CPS 185-100 towable air compressor is designed for construction sites. The air compressor is powered by a liquid-cooled, three-cylinder Kohler diesel engine. The CPS 185-100 powers two 90-pound breakers or other additional tools and ranges up to 125 psi. The Xc1004 controller is included in the standard package, which makes operating parameters visible. This product also features an integrated toolbox. Air pressure, fuel level and running hours are all displayed on screen, as well as additional measurements—like rpm, engine temperatures, oil pressure and voltage—for diagnosis and troubleshooting. The Xc1004 intuitive controller displays compressor and engine measurements, warnings, alarms, operational settings and routine service requirements.

Featuring a narrow width of 31.5 in., the electric Ultra Buggy can fit through a 3-ft. door with a crash bar. Built to be versatile and agile, it’s equipped with a fold-up platform so operators can choose to stand on or walk behind the unit. The fold-up platform serves a second purpose, as well, allowing the unit to fit inside elevators or on trailers for easy transport. The polyethylene tub has an increased thickness of 3/8 in., allowing operators to haul more than just concrete, and a steel tub is also available for applications that require it.

Solution (BESS) provides three-phase and single-phase power output for mobile power applications with the advantage of zero sound and zero emissions. When connected to a compatible generator, it creates a hybrid power system optimizing generator and BESS operation to power varying load requirements. The BESS automatically turns the generator on to recharge the batteries and provide peak power output and off when not needed, thereby maximizing efficiency.

The MBE30 assists the diesel generator during short bursts of high-power demand, allowing for the possibility of a smaller, more cost-effective generator to power the same load.
