BUSINESS IN THE FRONT. BUSINESS IN THE BACK.

We were the pioneers of backhoe loaders, and no one knows the business of getting more work out of one machine and one operator like CASE. Now we’re adding to the trusted N Series lineup with the new Utility Plus model that dominates in value and two new Construction King™ models available in center pivot or side-shift configurations. They’re all built to work harder so you can work smarter. Learn more at CONEXPO or at CaseCE.com.

Hitachi ZX50U-5N Compact Excavator

With its reduced tail-swing design, the compact, 10,560-lb. ZX50U-5N is designed for working in congested areas. An independent swing boom and 360° rotation allow set up almost anywhere. The power mode provides higher engine speeds for most general digging work, while the economy mode reduces engine speed for lighter digging jobs. This results in lower noise and decreased fuel consumption.

The excavator also uses the Hitachi Triple H (HHH) hydraulic system, which enables combined operations by adjusting the optimal flow rate for all actuators. A backfill blade allows the excavator to fill or grade while an optional all-hydraulic blade angles 25° left or right, for even more efficient grading and backfilling.

Takeuchi TB2150R Excavator

Takeuchi has launched its newest excavator, the TB2150R. This new 15t model is one of Takeuchi’s largest excavators, second only to the TB2150. The primary difference between the TB2150R and the TB2150 unit is the TB2150R’s fixed boom arrangement and reduced tail swing design.

The TB2150R has an operating weight of 34,215 lbs. (rubber track), a maximum bucket breakout force of 22,256 lbs. and a maximum arm digging force of 13,490 lbs. It is powered by a 114 hp DEUTZ TCD3.6L4 turbocharged engine that delivers 338 ft.-lb. of torque and features a DOC+SCR diesel exhaust aftertreatment system. The TB2150R offers three working modes – ECO, Standard, and High Altitude – allowing operators to match the working mode to their specific application.

Mecalac 106MRail

Mecalac's tracked 106MRail drives on and off rails by lowering or raising the integrated rail gear. It is designed for working in light to medium applications, as well as tunnels and confined spaces for urban railways, subways and tramways. The 10-ton 106MRail is a tracked model based on Mecalac’s MCR crawler skid excavator concept and serves a variety of service and maintenance tasks, such as fine grading, working with ballast and ditch cleaning. With a 75-hp engine, it can travel up to 6.2 mph (10 kph) on the ground and 14.3 mph (23 kph) on rails. The machine’s articulated two-piece boom with offset provides operating support.

Doosan DX225LC-7

Doosan offers the DX225LC-7 crawler excavator for construction and industrial projects. The DX225LC-7 is the first Doosan excavator of this size to feature Doosan’s innovative D-ECOPOWER virtual bleed off (VBO) technology, providing operators with 7% lower fuel consumption per hour than the previous Stage IV model, as well as smoother controls.

In the DX225LC-7, the new features include a 14% heavier 4.9ton standard counterweight for working with heavier attachments, such as tiltrotators. The heavier counterweight contributes to higher lifting and digging capacities compared to the previous generation model.

The DX225LC-7 also incorporates as standard a new lifting eye that forms part of the casting for the push link for the bucket attachment at the end of the arm. The new lifting eye has a maximum capacity of 5 tons and has a special bush insert to prevent deformation of the lifting hole. With the new counterweight, the DX225LC-7 introduces a new smart hydraulic system that offers an improvement of around 30% in attachment work, compared to previous excavator models.

Kobelco SK210LC-11 Excavator

The 20-ton SK210LC-11 is equipped with a Yanmar Tier 4 Final engine that delivers 160 net hp and 577 lbs.-ft. of torque at 1,500 rpm, which is an 18% increase in torque vs. the previous model.

• Provides 32,190 lbs. of bucket digging force, 52,740 lbs.-ft. of swing torque and 51,300 lbs. of drawbar pulling force

• Independent Travel function enables smooth, steady operation while moving heavy objects across the jobsite

• Three work modes provide balance between high performance, economy and low fuel consumption and Heavy Lift and Power Boost (with unlimited time use) add power when needed

• In-cab hydraulic pressure release function allows work tools or hoses to be changed easily and safely

Liebherr Mid-sized Wheel Loaders

The three models, L 526, L 538 and L 546, in the latest Generation 8 have bucket sizes between 2.2 and 3.0 m3 in the standard version and are characterized by an increase in performance compared to the previous generation. The new L 526, for example, has around 20% more engine power and over 20% higher breakout forces than its predecessor. The newly-designed lift arm ensures maximum breakout, holding and lowering forces. It has optimized z-bar kinematics and improved working hydraulics. Increases in engine power and tipping loads prepare the wheel loaders for demanding operations in various sectors, such as excavation, recycling or log handling. Available in Europe, the L 538 and L 546 models also have performance increases in various areas, including increased traction.

John Deere SmartGrade 210G LC and 350G LC Excavators

The John Deere 210G LC and 350G LC Excavators feature factory installed and calibrated SmartGrade™ technology, increasing productivity, accuracy and providing benefits to operators on the job. These SmartGrade Excavators automate the boom and bucket functions for the operator, making it easier to achieve a smooth and accurate finish grade. Using GNSS positioning technology for accurate horizontal and vertical positioning, these machine control movements to a precise design target. This enables the operator to focus on controlling the arm function while the system raises and lowers the boom to maintain grade. In addition, SmartGrade Remote Support enables dealers to remotely monitor the machine, boosting uptime.
