DIVISION 4 COLDSTREAM: This week is all about one young man as we take on Whitehorse Pioneers in our first home game for the year, and that is Lawson Appleton, our Assistant Coach’s 7 year old stepson. Lawson was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and is currently fighting the battle of his life! Today we host a Worlds Greatest Shave where the players, supporters and Lawsons family and friends are going to get involved in shaving or colouring their hair to raise money to assist with the family and to donate to the Leukaemia Foundation. Lawson is a passionate sports fan and a big bombers supporter who looks up to many of the players around the football and cricket club so today is all about showing him that all those players along with the whole football and netball community are behind him on this unfortunate journey they are facing. Lawson, Leam, Tamara and family, the whole club is behind you guys giving you our love and support every step of the way! Lawson we hope today is a great day for you and you see just how much the boys think of you and are inspired by your courage! Enjoy every minute young fella...it’s all for you!!! We look forward to seeing everyone in the rooms after the game to watch the shaving and colouring! Hot finger food will be provided, raffles sold and donations collected so we welcome everyone in!
