ong awaited summer days are finally here – hooray! The holiday vibe is strong, as I write many of us are geared up finally for a trip away from our usual place of residence. It’s a thrilling prospect, packing suitcases, anticipating reunions with friends and family that have been delayed, cancelled and delayed again for so long… Planning itineraries, getting on the highway, or even in an aircraft – we’re rusty as can be at all this travel stuff. Hopefully it will be just like riding a bike, and our holiday modes will just kick in automatically. Once again, we’ll be fancy free, without a care in the world. Spontaneity will be the buzzword of our vacay – good times, adventures, pool time and, most of all, the kind of memories one can only create whilst in holiday mode will abound and we’ll arrive back home relaxed, refreshed and with a fresh new appreciation of our regular daily routine.
