What piece of advice would you give women making their way in the business world? I have a few things that I tend to come back to, to guide me as a business owner. I’m a big believer in community, not competition. We need to raise each other up! Operating in the CBD I’ve been able to do this and build great relationships with other local business owners where we can all celebrate our businesses success together. I think it’s so important in a community like ours to know that you can collaborate and grow at the same time. I’d also say that as women in business we can sometimes be a little more critical of ourselves than we should be. So I’d say take chances, and make change. Be flexible and open. And most importantly listen to all that is happening around you and trust your instincts.
