Relax, God is in control, no matter the state of the physical world around us. Remember that Jesus is the Light of the World! Let us allow God to guard our hearts and minds, providing us rest and peace as we navigate through these dark and challenging times. God is the Good Shepherd who guides us, even when we are unaware, so we rest assured that He knows what He is doing.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in ME you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

Praise the Lord Sunday Schoolers:
Welcome to the Year of Our Lord 2025, a time of redemption and the opportunity to receive grace upon grace. In 2025, expect God’s abundant blessings and be grateful for the greater opportunities in your relationship with Him as He provides all you need in a life filled with hope, health, and happiness.
Despite the tests and trials, we may face this year, remember to stay focused on what truly matters. God will guide you daily, and He has always provided for His children.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” Colossians 3:16-17.
Greater Emanuel Sunday School invites you to join us every Sunday, either via Zoom or in person. Our in-person classes are held at Greater Emanuel Apostolic Temple, located at 1150 W. Galbraith Road, Cincinnati, Ohio, in the EJB Hall. We look forward to seeing you!

Deacon Wallace was one of our beloved senior brothers who went on to be with the Lord. He was 103 years old when he passed away. He had a passion for gardening, and after learning about this, I wondered if he was familiar with the Three Sisters Method of planting.
➢ Christopher Columbus observed Native Americans cultivating/using the “Three Sisters’ method” also known as the “companion planting method”. Tribes would grow beans, corn, and squash together.
In this planting technique:
• Corn was planted in a checkerboard pattern, not in rows like today.
• Beans were planted at the base of the corn stalks, allowing the corn to serve as a trellis for the beans.
• The beans would also fertilize the soil.
• Squash was planted in the spaces between the corn plants, providing shade and protection from the sun.
• Additionally, the dense growth of corn and bean vines helped deter animals from eating the squash.

Greater Recovery Ministry
The Greater Recovery Ministry is an outreach program dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with the psychological, spiritual, and behavioral effects of addiction. Our goal, guided by the love of God, is to help individuals achieve complete deliverance from various types of addictions. We provide encouragement and support throughout the recovery process, believing that Jesus has the power to free you from addictions such as alcohol, drugs, food, gambling, the internet, nicotine, co-dependency, shopping, and more.
The curriculum for the Greater Recovery Ministry is based on the vision of our Senior Pastor, Bishop LaVelton J. Daniel, who seeks for "All Souls" to experience freedom from the "World of Negative Addiction." The program consists of 12 Godly principles that will be discussed weekly in a support group setting, facilitated by trained leaders.
For our youth participants, the curriculum focuses on drug prevention and education. We can schedule a convenient meeting if you or someone you know needs support. Please direct all inquiries to In-House Pastor Evangelist Melvina Pounds at melvinalbs@gmail.com.
February 2025
Love in Action
Unit 2: Acts of Love by Jesus
Unit 3: Acts of Love by Jesus’ Followers
February 2, 2025: Lesson 10: Healing a Man Born Blind: John 9:1-17: Teacher: Brother Guy Frazier: In the last lesson of unit two, Jesus demonstrates His power to heal by restoring sight to a blind man, physically and spiritually. He is truly the Light of the World to those who are in darkness. Jesus opens the eyes of the spiritually blind, providing deeper insight and understanding into the challenges we encounter in life, as long as we are willing to trust Him with our burdens. Jesus is the Light of the World!
February 9, 2025; Lesson 11: Fellowship and Sharing Among Believers: Acts 2:43-47; 4:32-35: Teacher: Evangelist Linda DuBoise: This week’s lesson teaches us that, as Christians, we should engage in fellowship, and care for one another, as well as for those in need, in meaningful way. The lesson encourages us to apply the same principles that the early church demonstrated by being willing to help and support one another and to fellowship together. God’s people should have a special concern for those who are struggling, reflecting God’s own concern for them. Jesus reached out to the hurting and helpless during His earthly ministry, and the early church followed His example. We are called to continue showing brotherly love among ourselves. February 16, 2025: Lesson 12: Lydia’s Hospitality: Acts 16:6-15: Teacher: Evangelist Mytrice Nesbitt: This week’s lesson emphasizes that God is in control, and knows when and where we should go to witness for Him. In a vision, Paul saw a man praying, asking him to come to Macedonia. He felt assured that the Lord had called them to go and preach the gospel there, so they left Troas and headed to Philippi, which is the chief city of Macedonia. In Philippi lived a woman name Lydia. As mentioned in verse 14, “And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.” In verse 15, “And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, if ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.” God had prepared her heart to hear the gospel, just as He had prepared Paul to deliver the good news of the gospel; she and her family were baptized.
February 23, 2025: Lesson 13: Priscilla, Aquila, and Apollos: Acts 18:1-4, 18-21, 24-28: Teacher: Minister Renata Jackson: Last week’s lesson took us with Paul and Silas on their missionary journey to Philippi in Macedonia, where they ministered to Lydia. This week, we will be introduced to Aquila and Priscilla and learn how they assisted Paul in spreading the gospel. Aquila and Priscilla effectively served the Lord as a team, faithfully ministering to various individuals. Their collaborative efforts should encourage and inspire us to work together to spread the gospel, and become disciples of Christ. God always has a place of service for His faithful servants who are willing to work. Review this week's lesson at the link: (35) GREATER NEWS #98 JACKSON - YouTube
