he wait was 492-yearlong for Ayodhya to welcome Lord Ram with all the grandeur. Its holy land hadn’t witnessed a celebration like that on Friday since the Treta Yuga. But with the resolve of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the day has finally arrived in humanity as Ayodhya witnessed stars on earth on Friday. History was being written when Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath lit one of the 5, 51, 000 diyas (earthen lamps) at the banks of the holy Saryu river and across Ayodhya. “Next year we will light 7, 51, 000 diyas,” Yogi said amid chants of Jai Shri Ram from the crowd. “Yeh varsh hamare liye bahut mahatvapoorna hai (This year is really important for us.) For years and years, those who love India, had an indispensable desire buried in their hearts that they see their beloved Lord Ram’s Temple being built at Ayodhya. Respected Modi Ji made it possible for us for which, I on behalf of all the Ram Bhakts, thank him and send our gratitude,” the Chief Minister said amid chants of Jai Shri Ram from the crowd. “Prime Minister Modi, following all the Covid-19 protocols,

came to Ayodhya and laid the foundation stone of the grand Ram Temple and quenched the thirst of millions of devouts,” added the CM. Talking about taking ‘Brand Ayodhya’ to the world, the BJP leader said that lakhs of people from all religions and ethnicity associate with Deepotsav. And it is with like these that people will take brand Ayodhya to the world. Ayodhya will soon have an international airport. Laying emphasis on the fact that for the first time in India since independence, there is an atmosphere of brotherhood. “PM always says that we need to bring Ram Rajya back to this country and you would have seen that in the past six years or so, the feeling of brotherhood, peace and respect between all religions is at the highest. Any scheme that was started by Modi Ji after 2014, hasn’t differentiated in the name of religion caste or creed,” Yogi emphasised. “We are working on connecting different religious places through religious circuits like the Ramayana Circuit, Krishna Circuit, Kashi Circuit etc,” the CM said. Previously when people had tough time in taking holy dip in Saryu river due to unclean Ghats, now more than 5 lakh people can take a dip in the holy river on any festive occasion.
