NOW MAYA JUMPS IN RAJ POL BATTLE THE STRONG-WORDED WHIP HAS ALSO MENTIONED THAT THE MLAs COULD LOSE THEIR MEMBERSHIP IF THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE PARTY LINE
Aditi Nagar Jaipur: In a late-night political development, that could have longstanding ramifications on the politics of the desert state, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) issued a whip to its six MLAs instructing them to vote against the Congress party in the ‘noconfidence motion’ if the assembly session is convened and the floor test becomes a possibility. The strong-worded whip has also mentioned that the MLAs could lose their membership if they do not follow the party line. Notably, the BSP has told its MLAs that since it is a national party, their party cannot be merged with other political parties under the Anti-Defection Law as provided under the Constitution.

Govind Singh Dotasara Rajasthan Congress Chief On Monday, Congress workers will protest in front of Raj Bhawans as part of ‘Save DemocracySave Constitution’ agitation call. But, in Rajasthan, we will not do anything like that.
Jaipur: With a continuous surge in Corona cases over the past few days, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot held a high-level review meeting on the pandemic wherein it was decided that Collectors, in close coordination with Principal Secretary Health, Akhil Arora, would be allowed to enforce ‘local lockdown’ in
their respective districts. The districts where surge in Corona cases would be registered, lockdown would be imposed in those areas on local level. “Discussion was held on the extension of plasma therapy in Rajasthan, since the therapy has yielded good results and therefore plasma therapy will be initiated in the six government medical colleges of the state. Guv likely to give green signal for special assembly session Kalraj Mishra receives Cabinet proposal, sans floor test plan Kashiram Choudhary Jaipur: After two days of political squabbling and laying of charges on each other by the two prominent political parties of Rajasthan i.e. Congress and BJP, late on Saturday night Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra received a revised proposal from the state cabinet led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot requesting that a session of the assembly be called on July 31. But the most surprising aspect of the proposal that came to light, according to sources, is that there is no mention of a floor test in the Rajasthan government’s proposal to the Governor. “Rajasthan government’s proposal to the Governor asks to start

Jaipur: In a significant development amid the prevailing political turmoil in Rajasthan, Governor Kalraj Mishra directly called up Chief Secretary Rajeeva Swarup and DGP Bhupendra Singh on Sunday to Raj Bhawan, mainly to review the law and order and Corona situation.

Assembly Session from July 31 and proposes discussion on coronavirus and other bills. There is no mention of floor test in the proposal,” highly placed sources in the Raj Bhawan informed. Interestingly, sources in the state’s political arena claim that the Gehlot government could bring a confidence motion in the middle of the session and in this way, the motion would not only be brought, but passed too, in a haste. Since the possibility of occurrence of this ‘theory’ is high, word is that the Pilot camp is a bit riled up. On the o t h e r h a n d , Kalraj Mishra
initiating its ‘Speak Up India’ campaign on social media platforms, the Congress on Sunday accused the Rajasthan Governor of resorting to the ‘worst kind of obstruction of democracy’ by raising ‘superfi-
cial and motivated’ queries on Ashok Gehlot government’s demand for convening a session of the state assembly. Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi said his party wants a floor test in the state assembly and is ‘begging’ for it, but the Governor is not convening the House and ‘delaying’ the trust vote allegedly at the behest of the central government.
