s we celebrate Eid today, under lockdown, it is very unlikely to resemble that of previous years as coronavirus pandemic continues to paralyse human movement around the world. Most of us will have to make do with Eid gatherings virtually. With Eid celebrations going online and restricted to individual homes, with
coronavirus ‘restructuring’ our social interactions and behaviour; with mosques and markets remaining deserted, we still can greet each other from the safe enclosures of our homes. Although the festival might not be on the same footing as previous years, but this Eid we have learnt a major lesson—to stand united in the face of crisis!
