Govt shows CBI who’s the Boss in Raj Says it can’t just walk in, has to seek permission!
Saddened but not surprised: Pilot Rubbishes charges by MLA Malinga of offering `35 cr to change his vote
Aditi Nagar & Amit Chhabra Jaipur: Amid political crisis in Rajasthan, a fierce battle seems to be raging between the Central and State governments, with the state issuing an order that the CBI will first have to seek its permission for any investigation and only then will it be able to take any action in Rajasthan. Moreover sources add that with suspense rising on the likely developments after the Union Home Ministry demanded a report on the phone tapping incident by SOG, on Monday, the state government in a calculated move, withdrew its “general consent” to the CBI to conduct raids and investigations by issuing a notification requiring the premier investigation agency to take prior consent of the state for investigation of an offence under section three of the Delhi Special Police Establishment (DSPE) Act, 1946. As per Section 6 of this act the CBI has powers to investigate a matter anywhere in the country. Turn on P6

Congress Committee adhyaksh se. Hume pata tha vo Nikamma hai, Nakara hai. Kuch kaam nahi kar raha hai. Khali logon ko ladwa raha hai (In the past seven years, you won’t find anyone in the party who demanded the removal of Pilot as PCC president even though we knew he was useless, good for nothing and that he wasn’t doing anything except making people fight among themselves),” Gehlot

GEHLOT CLEARS THE AIR IN AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
Party gave all to Pilot, what did he give in return? Gehlot quips In an exclusive conversation with First India’s Aditi Nagar, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot talks about the conspiracies that the rebel MLAs and Opposition have been building from past few months.
Aditi Nagar: Your comment on Sachin Pilot, you called him ‘nikkamma, nakara’. What was the reference in which you made that statement? Ashok Gehlot: See I said it in the reference of the organisation and how he ran it. The reference was the faith he was entrusted with, I was also entrusted with when I was a youth, and I was too given opportu-

nity to become central minister and then a Chief Minister. Sachin Pilot also falls in that category. It was this Congress party where Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi made him minister at such a young age, he became PCC Chief at 36 and at 40 he became deputy CM. I have also run the organisation as I have been PCC Chief thrice and have 40 years of experiences in run-
ning organisation. He had no experience of NSUI, Youth Congress and as soon as he landed he started saying he has come to become CM, I will be in politics for 40 years, now you decide whom you want to stay with! I should not say much but sometimes it feels that a well behaved and well conversed individual and I had even suggested him also to take everyone’s advice
and then move forward and assured that nothing will befall him, but the manner in which he created vertical divisions in party, I am sure such division has never occurred under any PCC Chief. So if anyone asks me on organisational level, I would say a person who is ‘Nakara, Nikamma’, who did not run organisation well since he had no experience. Turn on P8
