CHINA BLINKS FIRST

New Delhi: Ahead of the next round of military talks scheduled to start this week, troops of India and China have disengaged on the ground at multiple locations in Eastern Ladakh. The talks between the two armies are going to be held this week at multiple locations including Patroling point 14 (Galwan area), Patrolling point 15, and Hot Springs area, top government sources told ANI. Because of the talks to be held in the next few days and the Lt Gen-level talks

held on June 6, the Chinese Army has pulled back its troops from the Galwan valley, PP15 and Hot Springs in Eastern Ladakh area by 2 to 2.5 kilometres, they said. The sources said to reciprocate the Chinese disengagement, the Indian side also brought back some of its troops and vehicles from these areas. Sources said the talks are being held on these points at the battalion commander level and they have had hotline talks with their counterparts. Turn on P6

With such a surge in numbers, Delhi will need 80,000 beds by July end, he told reporters after a meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority chaired by LG Anil Baijal. Nearly 30,000 cases have been reported in the national capital. Sisodia said if the old growth rate of COVID-19 is taken into account, the doubling rate in Delhi is 12.6 days and almost all participants of the meeting agreed to this.

ing facilities near their fields to farmers for the sale of agricultural commodities during the Covid-19 pandemic. For the operation of these mandis, cooperative societies

will be able to collect mandi fees from traders under the Rajasthan Agricultural Produce Market Act1961. To make the new mandi yards economically efficient,

their share in mandi duty has been increased to 75 percent. It is to be noted that at present, 60 percent of the mandi fee collected during the first 3 years after the commencement of sale and sale of agricultural commodities in private mandi premises, 50 percent for the next 2 years and 40 percent thereafter is payable to the mandi committee.

Other means of income are not available for the operation of the yard in private secondary market yards set up by the Gram Seva Cooperative Societies and the purchase and sale cooperative societies. In this way, it has been decided to increase their share in compiled mandi duty to provide financial support to these newly declared mandis and to compete with the old yards.
