As Unlock 1.0 rolled out across the country from Monday, many temples and religious places reopened doors to devotees and malls, hotels and restaurants too resumed operations with precautions. But only a few braved the coronavirus scare to venture out. While Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu, decided to keep malls and places of worship shut, Rajasthan threw open its malls & hotels but kept places of worship out from unlock.

Door-to-door survey in 10 states to rein in Corona
Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, J&K & Madhya Pradesh told to focus on survey & prompt testing New Delhi: In view of the surge in COVID-19 cases, the Union Health Ministry on Monday asked officials of 45 municipalities and municipal corporations across 38 districts in 10 states to focus on house-tohouse surveys and prompt testing to contain the infection. The 38 districts are from Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh. Sudan directed all states to make a “district-wise prospective plan” for the coming months. Meanwhile, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Monday announced that the lockdown in the state will be extended till June 30 while Mizoram CM Zoramthanga re-imposed total lockdown in his state for two weeks starting from Monday midnight. The Health Secretary also directed the states to involve the elected representatives in the rural areas for cooperating with the district health authorities for confidence building and timely accessing of available health services. Jaipur realtor succumbs to injuries after Rs5 cr heist
First India Bureau Jaipur: In a shocking incident some unidentified men stabbed and grievously injured a real estate dealer identified as Naresh Krishniya on late Sunday night in the state capital Jaipur. Krishniya succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at SMS hospital on Monday.
