Kerala government announced Rs 10 lakh compensation to families of those who died. Air India Express also said it is adequately insured and would pay the compensation in accordance with applicable law at an appropriate time.

Hardeep Singh Puri, when asked about the speculation on the fuel in the ill-fated aircraft, said the plane was carrying enough fuel to attempt a diversionary landing elsewhere. “Let us await the findings of investigation,” the minister said.

New Delhi: Six Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLAs from Rajasthan on Saturday moved Supreme Court seeking transfer of the case against their merger with the Congress party in the state from Rajasthan High Court to the top court.
