urning 56 years old today, Amit Anilchandra Shah has perhaps been one of the few politicians in the Indian history who have quite literally changed the way politics is done in the country while displaying immense tenacity to mobilize party cadre and resources towards winning elections, one after other. His one quote given to a media prior to the 2014 general election, “Will anyone go to battle to loose?”, displays his never say die attitude and the seriousness with which he approaches the political game, like a modern day Chanakya. Shah, who has never lost an election, is

quite literally the man for all seasons, who has risen through the ranks of the party and has been at the epicentre of changes in the Indian political and social strata as well. His outstanding contribution in bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir through removal of Article 370, CAA and Ram Mandir movement, under close supervision of his mentor Narendra Modi, has created the image of new Sardar Patel for a towering Amit Shah. Achievements galore for Shah who, with his low demeanour, toils hard to ensure success for the party and for the aspirations of 138 crore Indians who all wish him to be hale and hearty for decades to come. Here’s wishing the BJP’s master strategist, a very happy birthday!
