India occupies 6 major new hills near Ladakh LAC New Delhi: In the last three weeks, the Indian Army has occupied six new major hill features on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) during the ongoing conflict with the Chinese Army in the Eastern Ladakh sector. “The Indian Army has occupied six new heights between August 29 and the second week of September. The new hill features being occupied by our troops include the Magar hill, Gurung Hill, Recehen La, Rezang La, Mokhpari and the dominating height over Chinese positions near Finger 4,” top government sources told ANI. Watershed moment in history of Indian agriculture: Modi New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratultaed farmers, stating that the passing of the farm bills in the parliament was a “watershed moment in the history of Indian agriculture”. Addressing a press conference along with Prakash Javadekar, Prahlad Joshi, Piyush Goyal, Thawar Chand Gehlot and Mukhtar Abbas Naqwi, defence minister Rajnath Singh said, “Whatever happened was against parliamentary dignity.
