Jaipur: On the eve of voting for the Mayors of both the municipal corporations of Jaipur, Congress corporator Dashrath Singh exploded an audio clip bomb alleging horse trading by Ajay Yadav, husband of BJP Mayor candidate Kusum Yadav for Heritage Jaipur municipal corporation. Dashrath Singh came out of the camping at Jaibagh palace on Delhi road and went to the ACB HQ to register his complaint regarding the horse trading. Along with his report he also submitted two audio recordings to the ACB. MAYOR POLLS FOR 6 MUNICIPAL CORPS IN THREE CITIES TODAY Jaipur: Ward councillors elected last week will vote on Tuesday to choose mayors for six municipal corporations in three cities in Rajasthan. According to the State Election Commission, voting will be held from 10 am to 2 pm on November 10 and counting of votes will be done immediately after polling. Similarly, polls to elect deputy mayors of these corporations will be held on November 11. Thirteen candidates are in the race to become mayors for the corporations, including Jaipur. The candidates have filed 16 nominations in Jaipur Greater, Jaipur Heritage, Jodhpur North, Jodhpur South, Kota North and Kota South civic bodies. Jodhpur South has three candidates, while the remaining five municipal corporations have two candidates each.

ON ARNAB GOSWAMI’S ARREST, MAHA GUV KOSHYARI DIALS HOME MINISTER Mumbai: After arrested Republic TV anchor Arnab Goswami alleged today that he was being “assaulted” in jail and was not being allowed to meet his family, the Maharashtra Governor intervened and dialed the state government to convey his concern. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari spoke to Maharashtra’s Home Minister Anil Deshmukh this morning and expressed concern over the security and health of Goswami in jail. The Governor also asked the state Home Minister to allow the journalist’s family to meet with him.

Goswami will stay in jail for now, after being denied interim relief by the Bombay High Court, where he has challenged his arrest. He has also requested bail before a lower court, which was asked by the High Court to decide within four days. The

to a jail from a prison quarantine centre on Sunday after allegedly being found using a mobile phone, according to news agency PTI. He was accused of using a mobile phone for social media activity though his phone was seized when he was arrested last week.
