RURAL FOOD UNITS SET TO GET INCENTIVES Move aimed at creation of jobs in big villages of UP; Micro food processing units to get subsidy to 35% on loans up to Rs 10 lakh First India Bureau Lucknow : In a major job push, the Yogi Adityanath government has decided to give incentive to set up 9,301 micro food processing units in big villages to create 20,000 employment opporntunies for rural youths.

The governent initiative to provide impetus to the food processing industry includes providing 35 percent subsidy on loans up to Rs 10 lakh. The State’s Horticulture Department is vetting proposals seek-

ing to modernise small scale industries in the villages and increase the capacity of food processing and are liley to get the government nod soon. Mirzapur: Freedom fighter Ramniranjan Singh (95), of Hasipur village in Mirzapur district, died on Sunday night at 10 pm resulting in mourning in the area.

Singh was the last freedom fighter of the development block. He was cremated with state honours on Monday.

Singh joined the freedom movement at the age of 13 and got associated with Revolutionary Forum in 1942. He, along with 14 companions, attacked a police station with the slogan ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Britishers Quit India’. Who doesn’t see red and blue states, but a United States.... ” Biden held the hope of an equitable America because American community was frustrated by so many internal and external challenges, as well as the Covid-19 transition. But racial hatred and ethnic vio-

It is hoped that the results of the Covid-19 Hate Crime Act will prove to be qualitative in the current scenario of the US, which has been dubbed by the divided state of America.

Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday said the central government has decided to increase the pace of vaccination against COVID-19 in July and August.

VACCINATING 1 CRORE PER MONTH COULD PROVE TO BE LESS The state has currently 14.66 crore voters in the state and the state till June 15th has vaccinated only 2.34 crore people. While the vaccination drive has been expedited and the state has targeted vaccinating 1 crore people in a month from the month of June. There is currently approximately 8 months to go for the elections and even if the target of vaccinating 1 crore people a month is achieved, it would be able to vaccinate just 8 crore people in the build up to the elections. The total people would still not exceed 10.50 crore and if people are given 2 doses, the number of people completely vaccinated would be just 5.25 crore.

GOVERNMENT WORRIED TOO, TARGET OF ONE CRORE DOSES IN JUNE

The figures are witness that the maximum number of infections spread in UP due to panchayat elections. The Panchayat elections were held in the state in 4 phases from April 15 to 29 and by April 4, 6.30 lakh were infected in UP with the number peaking to 14 lakhs after the competition of election. A whooping 7.50 lakhs were infected in just a month, with daily cases in this duration peaking at 30,000 cases a day. The infection also took the life of more than 2,000 employees-officers who were assigned election duty and the Allahabad High Court had also questioned the government in the past that with Corona to stay for a long time, what has the government prepared to tackle it.

t is for nothing that they say, “the pen is mightier than a sword”, for what a pen writes may last for centuries. The religious epics and stories, even if mythology, are controlling human life and behaviour in this era of scientific breakthroughs as they used to for ages. Human life would have been completely different but for these socioreligious writings. The man was physically a weak creature on the earth dominated by deadly animals but for use of hands and a powerful brain. Over some time, man learnt to write and communicate, societies were created and the man started ruling the land. The art of writing played an important role in this human growth because writing is not only an act of putting words on paper but it involves much more.

The human brain has an area called the hippocampus which is associated with memory. Studies indicate that when anything which is being heard or thought is noted down on paper the hippocampus remembers better as compared to one typed on a tablet or mobile. The human brain also has areas associated with visual imagination. It has been confirmed by several studies, a recent one from Japan included, that when a thinker writes with a pen rather than direct typing, his brain imagines much more deeply and vividly as typing on a computer or phone may divert the attention like the flow of emotions or thought process is too fast to type. The best strategy is to write, type and edit.

The novel was written
