The ministry of information and broadcasting has blocked 22 YouTube channels, 18 Indian and 4 Pak-based, for “spreading disinformation related to India’s national security, foreign relations and public order”, according to a press release. Mumbai: Equity benchmark Sensex dropped over 430 points on Tuesday as investors booked profits in banking and financial stocks after sharp gains in the previous session. The 30-share BSE gauge ended 435.24 points or 0.72 per cent lower at 60,176.50. Similarly, the NSE Nifty shed 96 points or 0.53 per cent to close at 17,957.40.

Mumbai: A team of the Uttar Pradesh Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Monday visited a building in Navi Mumbai where Ahmed Abbasi (29), who was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police for an attack on two police constables at a Gorakhpur temple, resided with his family till 2020.
