As well as the hours of volunteering – which will go towards our target of 10 volunteer hours per employee – we also donated a photoshoot for the charity to use in its materials to demonstrate its work.

Members of the EV Cargo team in Hong Kong volunteered recently at the Food Angel central food processing centre in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong to help prepare meal boxes.

Food Angel is a Hong Kong food rescue and food assistance program launched in 2011 by Bo Charity Foundation.

Po mainly serves the elderly, people living alone or who are facing a crisis situation, sharing around 7,000 free meal boxes every day. We are pleased to have partnered with them to provide regular, ongoing volunteer support to those in need.

After working for a whole afternoon, the team managed to prepare the ingredients for 3,800 meal boxes in total.
