President’s Message President’s Message Your Board of Directors, along with the Castle Management Team are always taking proactive steps to be fiscally responsible by promoting the maintenance, upkeep, replacement and repair of all elements comprising the common areas with a focus on resident safety, quality of life, and increasing home values. The approved monthly maintenance fee for 2021 is $219.00 for the Single-Family Homes and $182.00 for the Townhomes of Grand Key. The key changes contributing to the increase in the monthly maintenance fees are listed below. • Significant increase in insurance premiums due to COVID-19 and insurance claims • Cable TV annual contractual 3% increase • Security contract increases in order to provide better safety services to the community • Increase in reserve contributions to replenish the previously underfunded reserve account that allows for the continued major repairs and replacements throughout the community Sunset Lakes, the Jewel of the west, continues to be the best value for your dollar. TENNIS NEWS
The tennis coaches and staff hope everyone has been safe during the pandemic. We have re-launched the program with an emphasis on safety. The Texas Medical Association ranked tennis one of the safest forms of activities available. Exercise and movement are so important now that most of the kids and parents are at home. Give us a call or stop by the courts and we can help you get started! Here is our Winter Schedule. We will be adding programs in the future so keep an eye out. Also call for Winter Camp information.
